Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! I take ONE WEEK away from the list, and things go to hell in a handbasket. I barely had enough time for a brewski on Father’s Day! Hey, look! It’s another injured starting pitcher! What’s happened over the last fortnight to cause such a stir? Well, when I sat down this […]

Happy post-Father’s Day, Razzball world! I say that knowing full well that the key demographic for our delightful corner of the internet are middle-aged men fending off sleep deprivation while trying to keep their kids on the right path in life. What’s the right path? Why, the path that understands that Star Trek is better than Star Wars, of course! I should stay on brand. Are we teaching our kids that closers don’t matter, and never to draft a top catcher? As long as we unite along those unchangeable truths of the universe, we’ll be fine. Now let’s help your fantasy team a little bit!

A belated Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, granddads, step-dads, and even all you dads-to-be in the future.  I’m writing this on Father’s Day, and I just finished the time-honored tradition of dads teaching their sons a lesson.  That’s right, my son wanted to take me on in a game of driveway hoops.  He […]

Well, well, well. Take a look at that. We have a veritable smorgasbord of options placed before us this week. The quality isn’t too bad, either, though the matchups are a bit of a mixed bag in many cases. I feel like I should have more to say as way of introduction to the rankings […]

It’s that time of year when injuries start piling up, and fantasy managers everywhere are looking for a much-needed boost of health in their lineups. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen players like Bryce Harper, Wilyer Abreu, Matt Chapman, and Shea Langeliers all sidelined by various ailments. While some big names are making their way back, such as Ronald Acuña Jr., Mike Trout, and Jordan Westburg, the hunt for the next breakout bat continues. With the recent call-up of Jac Caglianone and the return of Nick Kurtz, two powerful sluggers are looking to make their mark and should be rostered in all formats. Navigating the ever-changing fantasy landscape can be tough, especially when trying to avoid regrettable roster moves. But this is the time of year to be bold. Cut loose the fading stars and chase the hot hand that could carry you to victory. This week, we return to our Top 100 Hitters for the rest of the 2025 fantasy baseball season in a special Father’s Day edition. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

After a rough showing two weeks ago, we bounced back last week. Bryce Elder was a terrible pick as one of our streamers, but he was really the only dud in that piece. It’s ironic because it’s the Rockies who got to him, because we’ll keep riding streamers against them for the remainder of the […]

Graduated from Stash List #5: House Party or Moore Is Better: Roman Anthony, Christian Moore, Jacob Misiorowski

Note: Anyone promoted during the current season is ineligible for the stash list.

1. Reds RHP Chase Burns (22, AAA)

Made his Triple-A debut this week and walked four batters but still surrendered just two runs in 5.1 innings and struck out seven Iowa Cubs. I wouldn’t give him more than five starts at the level, and I doubt the Reds will. They paid the man $9.25 million to sign on the dotted line. No good reason to spend a pile of pitches in the minors.

After a one-start audition for the Philadelphia Phillies in May, Mick Abel was recalled from the minors earlier this month and inserted into the starting rotation.

For fantasy owners who are starving for starting pitching, which means everyone, Abel is an interesting pitcher. He has great tools, but he hasn’t really been able to put those tools together to produce a dominant season. Over five minor league seasons, Abel is 23-24 with a 4.44 ERA and 1.41 WHIP.

But as I stated above, he has a lot of nice tools in his tool box, including a 96 mph fastball. So let’s dive in and see why Mick Abel is an Up-and-Coming Dynasty Player.
