This Son is the dog at Razzball. Not the glamorous dog that saunters around at dog shows or gets to be in commercials. Nope, this dog dumpster dives. And Razzball is the perfect place because Grey is a lover of dogs. Bow wow wow yippee yo yippee yah. Laura Holt is the deep league specialist. […]

No Major League Baseball team has played more than 13 games as of March 6, and none of them have actually counted for anything, but what else are we going to use to evaluate who we need for our fantasy baseball squads? In the aggregate, Spring Training stats are mostly meaningless, but things like playing […]

Please, blog, may I have some more? Here, friend, are some catchers that I will be targeting at my 2024 fantasy drafts after the top options are gone. I’m not going to get into the strategy of punting catchers. Been there, half-drunkenly wrote that during the Ottoman Empire. Click on the player’s name where applicable to read more and see their 2024 projections and blurbs I wrote for them. This is a (legal-in-most-countries) supplement
Please, blog, may I have some more? It’s tricky business reacting to spring training outcomes. Veterans are working on their game, treating reps like practice, while youngsters and journeymen are striving to make a good impression. That doesn’t negate all the outcomes, of course, but I feel a little silly reading sentences about how a player looks based on a week of half-games, and I feel even sillier writing them. Nonetheless, playing time is up for grabs, and small samples or not, guys are proving themselves worthy (or unworthy) of season-opening opportunities, so we can’t just play ostrich and ignore the new realities revealing themselves.
Please, blog, may I have some more? The year was 1975. Jack Mckeon was fired in late July by the Kansas City Royals for inability to relate to his players and Whitey Herzog was brought in to replace him. Whitey was quiet and mild mannered. Whitey also had an agenda, he was a forerunner to the movie classic Iron Eagle 2 with […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Sometimes, the Gods smile. Not broad, goofy grins. They’re Gods. They have chiseled chins and deep dimples, and they’re women. They look like Kirsten Dunst. Gods are multiple Kirsten Dunsts. There will not be questions about this later, so you can read and discard, like your medical chart that says your cholesterol is high. Speaking of medical charts that we can read and discard, Ronald Acuña Jr.’s knee MRIs

I wanted to pass on him due to the coverage… but I just couldn’t! Let’s see what someone recently […]

Please, blog, may I have some more?Grey and B_Don continue their OF positional rankings for 2024 on this episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast. Coming off of their only league draft, but not the first draft of the year (if you listen, this’ll make sense, maybe), the guys are ready to talk deep league OFs. We start with #41 in […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Baseball, like a flower, blooms in the spring. They also share equally effusive PR people. Just the other day I read about how a petunia’s branches gained 15 pounds and was in the best shape of its life.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Howdy Razzball, faithful! I was kicking around some ideas in January when Truss asked me to take the Top 100 Starting Pitchers over for 2024. I think it’s now time to turn one of those ideas into reality. But first…as always, I like to lead with the link to Rudy’s.Razzball subscriptions. The tools, ad-free-browsing, Streamonator, […]
