What is up party people? Who’s ready to get bold and win some sweet, sweet DFS cash. Let’s start off with a gamble on Joc Pederson (OF: $2,900)and the tremendous power he possesses. This is a risk/reward play because he’s a streaky hitter and likely always will be. The bot likes him today which brings him into play for us. The match-up shouldn’t turn you off and with his price, you can put your savings to work spending big elsewhere.

Lance McCullers Jr, SP: $9,600 – When he’s rolling, he has the stuff to perform against anyone. You know what you’re getting with McCullers, big strikeout upside, walks, and probably about 5 innings. Despite their record, the A’s offense is pretty much middle of the road. That sets him up for a big day.
Tyler Mahle, SP: $8,900 – Come for the strikeouts. Mahle has been racking them up and the Brew Crew love to swing and miss. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
Taijuan Walker, SP: $9,500 – He’s been money all season and should be able to dominate a Pirates team that is, shall we say, not good. The Ks are solid if not spectacular but the ERA is real pretty and he should have himself a day.
Ryan O’Hearn, C/1B: $2,400 – Here’s a nice value play. The bot likes him today so that should be all you need to know.
Luke Voit, C/1B: $3,100 – Bless his heart, he’s trying to break the Yankees out of their slump. One man can’t do it all in the MLB, but we’ll certainly enjoy the effort in DFS.
Jonathan Schoop, 2B: $3,000 – Love the projection, but I love the price that goes along with it even more. He’s been putting up good numbers all season, but the price doesn’t quite reflect his value and he should turn a profit.
Josh Rojas, 2B: $3,200 – Trust the bot and take this value. Rojas has had his ups and downs but he’s got the stuff to be a good play today.
Josh Donaldson, 3B: $3,300 – There’s a little risk with his hammy but if he makes the lineup, he’s your top option at the hot corner. That’s the kind of risk you can live with.
Ke’Bryan Hayes, 3B: $3,300 – Here’s your safer option if Donaldson’s hammy scares you off. His projection is still pretty good, not too far behind the top guys. It would be nice to see more power out of him, but I know it’s lurking, waiting to show out.
Bo Bichette, SS: $3,900 – He’s the top dog today and can be had for a price a bit below the high end. His numbers are good and he’s on a nice little hot streak. The power/speed combo is the gold standard and he’s here to deliver.
Amed Rosario, SS: $2,900 – Looking to save some cash? Rosario is your man. He could be heating up along with the weather. He should provide great value for your team today.
George Springer, OF: $3,900 – Never a bad idea to take the top bat in the outfield, especially if you’re not paying top dollar. He’s got a hitter-friendly park in front of him and while his season numbers don’t look great he has started to turn things around. I think we can cut him a little slack for the poor numbers since he spent a good portion of the season on the shelf. Today he makes for a fine option.
Franmil Reyes, OF: $3,300 – With his power, he’s capable of winning your contests by himself. He’s exactly the kind of upside play you love. As an added bonus he’s been swinging a hot bat over the past week.
I’m Only Happy When It Rains
Possible rain in Houston (thankfully they have a retractable roof), Baltimore, and New York with humidity and clouds scattered elsewhere. Baltimore should see the worst of the precipitation which looks to increase as the game moves along. I still like Springer, but there is a chance of a shortened game for him
Doing Lines In Vegas
No Coors game, but we are still treated to an 11 on the slate. Vegas says we could see some fireworks between the Yankees and Mariners. We also have a 10 between the Cubbies and Phillies.
