For a player looking to break out of a slump, there are few things more attractive than a game in Camden Yards against Matt Harvey. Rays outfielder Austin Meadows ($3,300) is in the perfect spot to buy low on, as he’s still got a 147 wRC+ against righties on the year and is in a great spot batting cleanup for Tampa Bay. Meadows can be used as a standalone or as part of a Rays stack against a pitcher in Harvey who has a 6.27 ERA with a 1.43 HR/9. Other Rays bats to target include Nelson Cruz ($3,800) and Brett Phillips ($2,500).

Aaron Nola, SP: $10,000 – Despite an inflated ERA, Nola is still pitching well this year – in fact, his 29.3% K-rate is the second-highest in his career. He’s still got a 3.51 FIP and just struck out 11 batters last time out against the Padres, so he should dominate against a weak Diamondbacks lineup tonight.

Logan Gilbert, SP: $8,000 – Gilbert is another buy low after getting torched by the Astros, but he has a much easier opponent tonight in the Royals, who have just a .296 wOBA against righties. Gilbert’s  26.6% K-rate and 5.5% walk-rate are indicators that he is a strong value play.

Miguel Sano, 1B: $3,300 – Sano has boom-or-bust home run upside to target in GPP tournaments, with seven homers in the last month.

Enrique Hernandez, 2B: $3,600 – Hernandez crushes left-handed pitching, with a .892 OPS against southpaws this year. He will be leading off for a loaded Red Sox lineup against Logan Allen, who has a dreadful 9.13 ERA.

Alex Bregman, 3B: $3,600– Bregman returned from the injured list on Wednesday, and this could be an opportunity to get him before his price rises. He will see plenty of run and RBI chances in the Astros lineup against a pitcher making his big league debut in Glenn Otto.

Francisco Lindor, SS: $3,300– Lindor is a good cash game play at this price against Paolo Espino, owner of a 4.68 FIP. He will bat early in the Mets order and should definitely have opportunities to score.

Eloy Jimenez, OF: $3,400 – Eloy is still undervalued at his cost, batting .288 with seven homers in only 26 games.

Corey Dickerson, OF: $2,600 – Dickerson is a cheap piece of the Blue Jays lineup that should have a great performance against Matt Manning, a righty with a 5.91 ERA.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

This is a slate where you absolutely need to consider the weather. Rays-Orioles, Diamondbacks-Phillies, Nationals-Mets, and Brewers-Twins all have rain in the forecast that could cause delays or postponement. Keep an eye on these weather situations before lineups lock.
