We’re coming up on the end but as teams fight for playoff position there is still plenty of opportunities to win some of that sweet DFS cash. He may not be on a playoff team but Frank Schwindel (C/1B: $3,500)  just keeps hitting and is putting up a near top-shelf performance for not a top-shelf price. His salary has started to creep up, but he’s still below the top tier price-wise. So get schwifty and enjoy his top-tier numbers.

Kevin Gausman, SP: $10,600 – I know he’s pricey but he’s been money his past couple of starts and I’m a biased Giants fan so here we are. If that’s not a good enough reason for you to roll with him today, consider that he’s been stacking quality starts and limiting the damage. And he’s also number one in the projections for today.

Ian Anderson, SP: $8,000 – Rocky road. No wait, the Rockies on the road. This is a match-up to target and Anderson has been pretty good for fantasy. His strikeout numbers aren’t eye-popping but you can’t complain too much about roughly a K and inning. I’m in at this price, even with the rain rolling through the Atlanta area.

Reynaldo Lopez, SP: $7,400 – We’re digging deep with this one, but that means there’s value here. He has solid numbers although not much time in the rotation. I don’t love the match up but I do like the price and the bot’s projection.

Jared Walsh, C/1B: 2,900 – He’s cooking with gas even though he saw his hitting streak come to an end. No time like today to get another one going. Ride that wave.

Josh Harrison, 2B: $2,800 – Take this and run all the way to the bank. He’s a steal at this price and my favorite choice at the keystone today.

Mike Moustakas, 2B: $2,300 – With a righty on the mound today he figures to see the lineup. That’s the good news, the bad news is that he’s no longer the stud he once was. But wait, there’s more good news. The bots give him a good projection and he carries a low, low price. Make him your value play.

Patrick Wisdom, 3B: $3,000 – Wise up and get some Wisdom in your life/lineup. He’s got the pop to pile up points and the price to be a real value.

Yoshitomo Tsutsugo, 3B: $2,500 – If Wisdom is too rich for your blood of you’re just looking to save some cash to load up on star power grab the hero of Mario Kart 64. Yoshi has been swinging the bat much better since he started sailing the high seas. He’s a good target to take a shot on to fill out your roster.

Gleyber Torres, SS: $3,100 – It’s a good thing fielding isn’t a DFS stat because Gleyber has been Gley-bad. His fielding woes haven’t stopped him from being a good option at short. I’d like more power, but at least he’s swiping bags.

Elvis Andrus, SS: $2,300 – September has been a strong month for him and he should keep that train rolling. Best of all a ticket for this ride will only run you $2,300. Now that’s a deal.

Shohei Ohtani, OF: $4,100 – How can you pass up the AL MVP at this price? Power on power plus speed equals massive point potential. Get in on a piece of the action.

Joey Gallo, OF: $3,100 – The ultimate three true outcomes hitter. When he does put the barrel on the ball, it just flies. Of course, there’s also the potential that he could just swing and miss all together. I like his chances to put one in the seats.

Khris Davis, OF: $2,200 -Take the bot’s advice here and enjoy the savings. That means hold your nose when you fire him up and maybe don’t watch the game. At his price, you can stack the rest of your team.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Rain rolled through the Atlanta area yesterday but they were able to get the game in anyways. That gives me hope that they can go ahead and play today even though the rain looks to be sticking around. Other than that we should just be looking at cloudy conditions.
