Aaron Nola is on an insane tear right now, with 47 strikeouts in his last 34 2/3 innings and a 2.34 ERA. While the Nationals are a tough lineup to face, it doesn’t look like Nola should have many problems, as he’s been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. Nola has a 2.29 ERA with a 2.52 Deserved Run Average, and even with the weak Phillies lineup, they’re favored -130 to beat Strasburg. Remember, on Wednesdays we start Nola!

Zack Wheeler, SP: Wheeler’s last month of starts has been nearly as impressive as Nola’s, as he’s posted an even better 1.64 ERA with 35 strikeouts in 33 innings. He gets to face the cupcake Marlins, who have a .293 wOBA versus righties.

Giancarlo Stanton, IF: Giancarlo has actually been pretty cold lately, but facing Jake Odorizzi is a great way to fix that, as he’s got a 4.57 ERA.

Matt Olson, IF: Another guy who has great odds at going deep is Olson. He’s against Andrew Cashner, owner of a 1.43 HR/9 and a 5.26 FIP. That’s a yikes from me, dawg.

Javier Baez, IF: Kind of suspicious that one of the best fantasy players on the planet is projected for only 8.1 points on Draft. Snag him late in your draft and laugh at your opponents.

A.J. Pollock, OF: Coooooooooooooooors.

Lorenzo Cain, OF: Cain is in the optimal spot for a DFS play, batting leadoff for the Brewers, which will maximize his number of opportunities to produce. He should be able to score some runs off of Kyle Hendricks.

Starling Marte, OF: Marte’s beastly power/speed combo gives him the potential for a ton of points on any given night.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

We’ve got some more September weather to deal with, but nothing that looks like it will clearly get postponed. Watch out for possible delays in TOR-BOS, WAS-PHI, and MIA-NYM.

Doing Lines In Vegas

I think Tampa Bay has a shot at +102 with Snell on the mound, as well as Pittsburgh at +100 with Taillon.
