Last four weeks of the season means last four DFS articles from your favorite DFS writer other than all those other folks. We’ve been struggling on our picks in DFS, but rocking things in the Lines in Vegas segment and in our general baseball betting plays. Hopefully, I can turn the DFS around tonight!

I’ll be bringing you my DFS picks for the main evening slate on Tuesday, September 12th, 2022. If you play on DraftKings, it is a 11-game slate starting at 6:05 Central time. This article will be primarily focused on the DraftKings slate, so if you play on Fanduel I encourage you to sign up for the DFS tools to help you make the best decisions for your lineups on FanDuel, DraftKings, and Yahoo.

New to DFS?  You can start playing right now on FanDuel and put our picks to the test.  If you’re scared of feeling like a small fish in a big pond, be sure to read our content and subscribe to the DFS Bot for your daily baseball plays. Jacob deGrom, SP: $11,800. Well, there’s plenty of expensive options tonight, and I’m buying the most expensive of them all. Since coming back he has 63 Ks in just over 43 innings of work while walking just 4 batters. The Cubs strike out at the eighth highest rate in MLB and he should continue his ramp up toward the post season in this one. I don’t see the Mets slowing his usage down unless they lock up the division so he’s a green light in this one.

Michael Kopech, SP: $7,100. I have to try and find a little value somewhere with DeGrom and I’m gonna take a shot at Kopech. He’s only had one good game in his last five, but I am hoping he can figure out whatever it is that’s troubling him. He pitched 5.1 scoreless innings against the Rockies earlier in the year in Coors and I am hoping he can recreate that here.

Christian Bethancourt, C: $2,900. Here’s my value catcher again going up against a pitcher who is listed as being in AAA, but also projected to get called back up to start tomorrow evening in game 2 of the double header. Bethancourt has homered in 4 of his last 15 contests and still is fairly cheap here. White has allowed 18 earned runs over his last three starts and hopefully, he hasn’t figured things out yet.

Luke Voit, 1B: $2,900. Voit goes up against Dean Kremer and the Orioles tonight. He is quietly on pace for a 20 Home Run campaign. Kremer has been solid his last five starts and has owned Voit with no hits allowed in nine ABs and 4 Ks. So why am I taking him? Because I like other more expensive options at other spots and needed some value here. Luke will use the force and homer tonight.

Gleyber Torres, 2B: $3,900. Torres homered twice on Sunday and has been better at the plate this last week. Pivetta has been much less effective since the all star break only producing 2 quality starts. The Yankees in Boston looks like a bad spot for him. Hopefully, Torres can help run him off the mound early.

Brendan Donovan, 3B: $3,300. Donovan continues to produce at the plate hitting two home runs this last week and rocking a .287 batting average. Looks like he’ll play Matt Bush with the Brewers tonight who won’t be in the game long. I like Cards stacks for tournaments tonight as well.

Elvis Andrus, SS: $3,000. Andrus has been a source of most of the White Sox offense since joining the team. He has 5 home runs in his last 15 games. Chad Kuhl will start for the Rockies and he has been awful lately giving up 3 earned runs of more in his last 9 starts, only getting through five innings four times.

Aaron Judge, OF: $6,400. Yeah, I know. DeGrom and Judge are chalk. But they’re the best most consistent options right now and I am willing to pay up. Gimme the Judge to take Pivetta deep over the monster tonight for Home Run 56.

Giancarlo Stanton, OF: $5,100. Stanton finally got back on track this weekend homering twice and his price hasn’t been adjusted. I’m all in on the Yankees against Pivetta tonight in case you haven’t noticed.

David Peralta, OF: $3,000. I’ve got some wiggle room on salary built into this lineup. There are going to be some weather problems tonight. If nothing else I can look to upgrade on the infield. Peralta should be in the lineup against White tonight.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Could be problems in Boston which messes up my Yankees stack. Possible in New York for Degrom and in Washington also

I’m gonna take  F5 shot on Merrill Kelly who has been good against the Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw at +180.
