In part 2 of the shortstop review, The Itch joins the show to talk about the recently completed Ditka, Sausage, and Dynasty league FYPD draft. Ditka could’ve showed up at Spring Training and made the Baseball Hall of Fame without playing a regular season game. Ditka would’ve brought back the two-way player in baseball well before Shohei Ohtani. Ditka would DH in the NL. Ditka’s ‘stache would put such fear into hitters when he was on the mound that they would leave the batter’s box, never to return.

Donkey Teeth and B_Don discuss the young Mets SS Amed Rosario in part 1 of the shortstop profile this week. Amed showed a little power, and in a game where stolen bases are harder to come by in bunches, Rosario stole 24 bases in 2018. There were some swing changes that the guys noticed during their review and look for some growth in 2019.

Ditka once hit a HR off Sandy Koufax, took a HR away from Hank Aaron, and was called the best defensive CF of all time by Willie Mays. Ditka could’ve been the greatest baseball player of all time, but he decided it wouldn’t be fair to everyone else be the GOAT in 2 sports. There was no velocity reading on Ditka because the means to measure that level of speed did not exist in the 60s.

With this week’s helping of sausage, the Ditka dudes deep dive on Yoan Moncada to see if the former top prospect is worth his current 158 ADP. B_Don and Donkey Teeth also take a look at Brian Dozier and Rougned Odor to evaluate their bounce back potential at different points in their respective careers. After the profiles, the guys discuss some later options at the position that could be steals in your draft. Come and get your sausage here!

Following a midseason trade, Luke Voit put together an incredible 2018 second half. In doing so, he earned himself Yankee fans’ fleeting adoration, a sleeper post from Fantasy Master Lothario and most importantly, the spotlight profile on the Ditka, Sausage 2019 first baseman preview show. It just goes to show you, dreams really do come true. Determination, hard work, and a healthy obsession with sausage are always rewarded.

After the comprehensive look into Voit’s past and future, B_Don and Donkey move their gazes towards two of the young shiny options at the position: Peter Alonso and Jake Bauers. Find all this and more inside this week’s edition of the one and only Fantasy Sausage Pod. The guys’ 2019 first baseman rankings can also be viewed below.

B_Don and Donkey Teeth are instead forced to talk about Jorge behind his back. You can find their entire catcher rankings below.

With B_Don away, Donkey Teeth is joined by CBS Sports’s Scott White to discuss their early season 12 team roto mock draft. But first, DT grills Scott about his on going tout wars battle with Razzball’s own Rudy Gamble. Find out what White has learned from the past two seasons of combat with Rudy, how he approaches 15 team leagues vs. 12 team leagues, and what he feels is changing across the fantasy baseball landscape in general.
As the guys dig into the mock draft results, they highlight the picks of pitchers Blake Treinen, Jacob deGrom, Corey Kluber and German Marquez, sharing some thoughts about each of these arms. The show then takes a turn for the worst when Scott bashes Donkey’s selection of Ronald Acuna at #5 overall. Blows are exchanged and tears are shed before finally, amends are made. Other draft picks that are discussed in depth include Nolan Arenado, Adalberto Mondesi, and Luke Voit. Baseball sausage is the juiciest form of sausage, taste it while its fresh:
