Sometimes, you just want to come right out of the gates with a home run. Here ya go folks, Willie Calhoun (OF: $3,700) is today’s best hitter according to the great and powerful bot. The numbers have been good for fantasy even if the power isn’t outstanding. Fortunately, Coors has a funny way of making everyone a home run king. Don’t hesitate, don’t overthink it. Fire him up.

Yu Darvish, SP: $11,500 – Yu gotta be kidding me with that price. Yeah, he’s expensive AF, but he’s also projected so far ahead of third-place that you might have to bite the bullet.
Anthony DeSclafani, SP: $7,700 – Tony Disco rides again. Or would that be Tony Dancer? Oh who remembers. Either way, he’s been mostly solid with a few blowups. There’s definitely a bit of risk but he will be at home and the price isn’t so high that it should scare you off.
Tyler Anderson, SP: $7,200 – After Darvish, you pretty much have to hold your nose and hope for the best. That leads to Anderson who doesn’t have eye-popping numbers on the year. In fact, the ERA is on the ugly side. However, is still capable of putting up a good fantasy performance and the Royals do not boast a world-beater of an offense.
C.J. Cron, C/1B: $3,400 – He’s in Coors so he’s in play for us.
Jesus Aguilar, C/1B: $2,700 – He’s been a solid contributor all season and even though I recommended the pitcher he’s facing, he should be able to keep the points coming.
Brendan Rodgers, 2B: $2,700 – That’s a big oof when you look at his starts. But at his price, you can afford to take a chance and follow the bot’s advice to start him.
Jake Cronenworth, 2B: $3,000 – He keeps finding his way into the lineup and putting up points. It also helps his case that he’s surrounded by a strong offense. So let the good times roll.
Isiah Kiner-Falefa, 3B: $3,400 – How good has IKF been this season? Certainly better than much of anyone expected him to be. High average, some power, good speed, and now he’s in Coors… sign me up.
Gio Urshela, 3B: $2,400 – It hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows but there’s hope for him yet. You’d love to see more consistency, but the upside is there. You can take a chance at this price.
Tim Anderson, SS: $3,600 – Top 4 projection today is a good start. The price isn’t too bad either. He’s been collecting points regularly and can even give you that huge ceiling game as well.
Josh Rojas, 2B: $2,400 – I like what he’s been doing this season, and getting Wednesday off should have him nice and fresh. He’s ready to roll.
Raimel Tapia, OF: $3,100 – I’ve been a fan of his all season. Thus far he’s been rewarding that faith so I see no reason to turn away from him now.
Jarred Kelenic, OF: $2,400 – This one is based on projection and price because it has been ugly as he adjusts to major league pitching. He has dropped a 40 burger and with his pedigree there’s more where that came from.
I’m Only Happy When It Rains
Possible light rain in New York, where it should dry up around game time, and Pittsburgh, where it should hit right in the middle of the game.
Doing Lines In Vegas
Shocker, Vegas thinks there will be a chunk of offense in the Mile High City. Based on the bot’s projections I’d be taking the over.
