Don’t you love when you can get a top option without paying for it? Today that guy is Marcell Ozuna, OF: $2,800 – This price is just way too cheap for a guy who can do as much for you as he can. Throw in a very favorable projection from the bot and you’ve got yourself the steal of the day. His projection puts him in the top 10 and not that far behind the top guys, but for way less. For the money, I’ll take that upside all day long.  Run, don’t walk to lock this pick in.

New to FanDuel? Scared of feeling like a small fish in a big pond? Well, be sure to read our content and subscribe to the DFSBot for your daily baseball plays. Just remember to sign up through us before jumping into the fray. It’s how we know you care!

Julio Urias, SP: $9,600 – What’s not to like about Urias? Great lineup backing him up. Facing a team in the bottom third offensively. Through two starts he’s given us 12 innings which falls right in line with his projection and more importantly, gives him that winning potential.

Patrick Corbin, SP: $8,100 – Oof, that ERA looks rough. Really rough. However, that is based on a single start after his return from the Covid IL. Throw that all away, it was one start against the Dodgers, and apparently they’re pretty good. Fortunately, the Diamondbacks should prove less of a threat.

Rich Hill, SP: $7,700 – Feeling lucky? The bot says don’t be scared and that he’s a solid lower price option.

Sean Manaea, SP: $6,700 – The bot’s bargain alert. He does have the misfortune of going up against emerging star Akil Baddo, but other than that the Tigers do not possess an overpowering offense. We can also be encouraged that his second turn showed signs of improvement. Should be your top target if you want to save money on pitching.

Carlos Santana, 1B: $2,700 – At this price there’s a lot to like about what Santana brings to the table. He has a good spot in the order locked up and while he may not be an elite pick, he will bring value.

Jake Cronenworth, 1B: $3,100 – He’s so hot right now, he’s basically forced the Padres into playing him everyday. It’s all driven by a high average, but you’ll want him in your lineup when the power and RBIs show up. This is absolutely a matchup he can take advantage of.

Ozzie Albies, 2B: $3,000 – Way too much value to pass up at this price. He’s one of the best fantasy second basemen out there and I’m surprised he’s this low. Don’t question it, just get him in your lineups today.

Brandon Lowe, 2B: $2,800 – Started slow but there are signs of life. The bot says today should be another step in the right direction.

Manny Machado, 3B: $3,500 – Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that the man has talent. This is an exploitable matchup that should return a nice value.

Austin Riley, 3B: $2,200 – If you would like to save money at the hot corner, look no further than Riley. He projects as a top 10 option who is available for far less than top 10 price.

Xander Bogaerts, SS: $3,200 – Do I love the .372 average even though I’ve been telling you to ignore the super low ones? Yes. Xander is locked in right now and that is exactly what we’re looking for.

Dansby Swanson, SS: $2,500 – Mansby doesn’t have a ton of hits so far but one of them was a bomb. Only one, that doesn’t sound like a ton. It’s not but the bot is in on him today and he’s cheap so you could do worse.

Juan Soto, OF: $4,400 – Nothing wrong with paying up for performance. The Sexy Dr Pepper, along with Tildaddy, and Mookie Betts are all great options today. But since Soto is the cheapest, we’ll focus on him. Honestly, there really isn’t much to say that you don’t already know. He’s uber talented and is absolutely on fire to start the year.

Randy Arozarena, OF: $4,000 – The hype pushed him up past where I wanted to take him in season long so it looks like DFS is the only place I’ll get any shares. This price, combined with his projection is much better and I’m in.

Andrew Benintendi, OF: $2,500 – Really looking to pinch those pennies? Well Benny has you covered. Steals are keeping to points coming in and we know he’s got some power lurking in there as well.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Shouldn’t be too many weather concerns today. Just some scattered clouds throughout. And a stiff breeze blowing in from left for the D-Back and Nats.

Doing Lines In Vegas

No 10s today (no Coors game) and hey, you can’t pull a 10 everyday. I guess we’ll have to make due with the 9 in Washington.
