The Cleveland Indians’ rotation has taken some major hits in the last week or two, with Carlos Carrasco and Danny Salazar going out for the season with injuries. Mike Clevinger, he of the most beautiful hair I’ve ever seen this side of Sampson, starts against the Royals today. They need to find a way to expand their rotation options for the postseason, and I suspect that Clevinger will get stretched out plenty in his last few starts; his lack of innings in his last few starts should stop being an issue, and instead it should be all about his hair (and his nasty stuff).

Blake Snell, SP: $6,400 – Pregame scouting report for Snell: Strike out everyone not named Gary Sanchez, walk Gary Sanchez. If he did that, and he has the ability to do something like it, we would all be very happy with this youngster.
Matt Wieters, C: $2,800 –This uber-tall catcher has to do almost nothing at this price to return value, and I believe in him to do more than almost nothing.
Mike Napoli, 1B: $4,900 – Jason Vargas, the soft-tossing Royals’ lefty, will soon be running to the Party at Napoli’s.
Jose Altuve, 2B: $5,400 – Best hitter in the American League besides one guy, and that guy is coming up soon.
Jonathon Villar, 3B: $4,800 – It’s too bad he’s in Milwaukee and no one has realized how good of a season he is having; Ryan Vogelsong will not be an obstacle.
Corey Seager, SS $4,700 – You know, the one thing that baffles me about Seager is he doesn’t hit with knocking knuckles like every little kid is taught. His hands are wrapped super far around the bat; guess it’s allowed when he rakes.
Mookie Betts, OF: $5,600 – Mookie in Camden Yards is the biggest no-brainer of all time.
Yoenis Cespedes, OF: $5,100 – Mr. Clutch Met against a lefty in September; I believe in him.
Mike Trout, OF: $5,600 –Here’s the aforementioned best player in the AL, and in baseball.
I’m Only Happy When it Rains
Rain coming in Minnesota… It’s been a rainy season anyways.
Doing Lines in Vegas
Over/under of 9.5 in the Pittsburgh-Milwaukee game. I knew there was a good reason to pick Villar!
That’s all for today… Here’s hoping Jose Altuve is done growing.
