Please see our player page for Wade Meckler to see projections for today, the next 7 days and rest of season as well as stats and gamelogs designed with the fantasy baseball player in mind.

In our 57th episode, Mike Couillard and Jeremy Brewer open by discussing two opposite history-making baseball stories in Aaron Judge and Danny Jansen before analyzing the latest wave of prospect callups and injuries affecting our fantasy teams. Then we do a far too early mock first round (12 picks) draft for 2025. You can find us on […]

What is up party people? Did you know that we are about to go into the biggest weekend for fantasy football drafts? If you’re a fantasy addict like me, you have a draft or 12 coming up. In that case, I would like to direct you to a wonderful resource to help you gain an edge. Oh yeah, Razzball does fantasy football too. But I digress, you’re obviously not reading for my fantasy football advice, you want to know how to finish out the fantasy baseball season. And for that, I applaud and thank you. You’re here, you made it . You have a team that is still contending and that’s a beautiful thing. Are you looking for a guy who is totally free? You know that I’m about to bring up Wade Meckler again., and no, I don’t get paid for how many times I mention him. He was a mystery box when he made the jump to the show and well, he’s still a mystery box. His batting average is looking good but he hasn’t shown any power or speed (wow, he sounds great). The mystery box could still be anything.

What is up party people? The weeks keep flying by and the hits keep on coming. Some are better than others. Tommy Pham – When he’s not getting into a screaming match with fans he’s actually been hitting the ball pretty well. That’s now 13 straight games with a hit for him, very impressive. There’s also a sprinkling of power and speed mixed in. At the risk of getting slapped, let’s call this what it is: just a hot streak. Call me biased but I’d rather have Joc Pederson.

What a difference a week makes. Since we last chatted, we’ve had one of the best middle infielders in each league become suddenly unavailable to their fantasy owners, and what’s followed has been, if not life imitating art, at least the fantasy community imitating major league baseball. Jonathan Aranda, Osleivis Basabe, Vaughn Grissom, and Nicky […]

What is up party people? Football season may be just around the corner, but don’t let that distract you from the most exciting part of baseball season, the stretch run to October. If you’ve stayed the course and are still reading I can only assume that you are still in the running for your league’s championship. For that I say, good job so far but there is still much work to be done. For crying out loud, there’s still a month and a half of baseball left. Now is the time to really load your team for the final push.

The Giants swapped Luis Matos out for OF Wade Meckler, a mustachioed lefty with a great approach who’s been hot all season across several stops, slashing .379/.463/.522 with five home runs in 69 games across three levels. Well, four, now that he’s gone from High-A to the majors in a matter of months.

The Cardinals recalled 1B Luken Baker, who was hitting .334 with 33 home runs in 84 Triple-A games and should play a lot from here on out or at least earn himself more than a dozen starts.

Angels are Charlie Brown and the every other team is Lucy pulling away the football. Another Peanuts analogy: Every Angels fan is standing at Lucy, under her sign for Psychiatric Help for five cents stating the Doctor is in, and the Angels fan is telling her how they’ve had arguably two of the best two players ever, and can’t win games. One guy, so good, he’s absurdly a top five hitter and a top ten pitcher, and still nothing. Yesterday, the Angels met reality once again, as a team that was seemingly rebuilding just last year is marching towards the AL West title, and every move they do seems to work. They went out and got a future Hall of Famer, who looked past his sell-by date in Max Scherzer (7 IP, 0 ER, 1 hit, 1 walk, 11 Ks, ERA at 3.67) and he’s rejuvenated looking like vintage Max again. Mean’s while, the Angels threw, Patrick Sandoval and he went 2 2/3 IP, 4 ER, ERA at 4.09, as he ran up to try to kick the football. Anyone got a nickel he can borrow? Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
