Hello everyone. Welcome back to another edition of my position-by-position dynasty rankings for 2027.

Last week I unveiled my Top 50 Dynasty Relievers for 2027 Fantasy Baseball, so this week I turn my attention to the starting pitchers.

As is often the case, as time moves on a person’s views and ways of doing things slowly change. In the past I gave more weight to older pitchers because I don’t like the many ups and downs younger pitchers have. I wanted “certainty” from my starters for the next three seasons. If I liked what I was predicting, I was taking them regardless of their age.

To be honest, this approached has served me well. While my opponents were going after the top young arms, I was able to get a Chris Sale or Zach Wheeler at a “discount” because they were so much older. But I have slowly shifted my overall outlook to go after younger starters as well. One big reason is many of the top young arms are just better at adjusting to the majors than in the past.

They are still going to hit a few bumps in the road, but not as many. So I am now willing to accept those ups and downs because their long-term upside is tremendous. Thus the below rankings now feature a lot of younger pitchers ranked higher compared to how I would have ranked them in the past.

With that out of the way, it’s time to move on to the Top 100 Dynasty Starting Pitchers for 2027 Baseball.

Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! As many of my colleagues here have mentioned, we’re into the home stretch for the 2026 Fantasy Baseball Season! Many of us are heading into our final week in the head-to-head playoffs, or trying to squeeze every point out of our rosters in the hunt for a rotisserie title. And, hopefully, […]

Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! Ah, September. The month when the Earth, Wind, and Fire collide in a flurry of falling leaves, a sharp turn in outdoor climate, and that dreaded pumpkin spice scent that, whether good or bad, gets everyone fired up. This is also the time when us northern folks’ smiles turn to frowns […]

Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! We’ll start with a quote today, and I swear it connects to the title. “Youth is wasted on the young.” Now, I don’t know who said it, but I’ll assume it wasn’t Max Scherzer, Justin Verlander, or Clayton Kershaw. Maybe it was George Bernard Shaw? And, no, that last dude wasn’t […]

Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! We’re officially in the final week of August, which means it’s a good time to check in on our AL Cy Young Award odds (according to the ESPN odds tracker). Let’s get something out of the way first: Cam Schlittler is having himself a fantastic year. But why put your hard-earned dollars […]

Razzballers, welcome to another week of Two-Start Pitchers! This week we will highlight Cade Cavalli and his great schedule for the fantasy baseball playoffs!  Vs LHH Cavalli throws a steady mix of four-seam fastballs and a knuckle curve, compared to vs RHH, which is four-seam, knuckle curve, sweeper, and sinker. Currently holds a 3.22 ERA […]

Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! It was a tough headline to figure out this week.  I came very close to running with a Reid Detmers breakdown, especially after his 11-strikeout manhandling of the Royals on Saturday night. But the more I thought about it, the clearer it all became. It was time to get Pfaadt. And, […]
