What do Ryen Russillo, Louis CK (allegedly), and Ralph Lifshitz all have in common? Hint: It has nothing to do with the fact that they are all from Boston. After getting that out of the way, we dive into the very deep and talented class of minor league outfielders. We discuss if Ronald Acuna is the #1 prospect in the game, how far should Austin Meadows fall, Victor Robles vs. Kyle Tucker, and if we are still underrating Willie Calhoun. We debate the rankings of Alex Verdugo, Anthony Alford, Kyle Lewis, Tyler O’Neill, Estevan Florial, Austin Hays, Taylor Trammell and many more. We close the show by talking our favorite sleepers (Tristen Lutz, Bubba Thompson, Brandon Marsh, Cristian Pache, etc ..) and also our biggest fallers (Mickey Moniak, Blake Rutherford, and Corey Ray.) As always, please make sure to support our sponsor by heading over to RotoWear.com and entering promo code “SAGNOF” for 15% off the highest quality t-shirts in the fantasy sports game. Solid podcast guys.
Love me some Taylor Trammell, dude is gonna be a star!
@Malicious Phenoms: Thanks, MP. Yup, love Trammell too. One of my favorite prospects.
Did they also get arrested for masturbating in front of someone without their consent?!
@Grey: hahah … not exactly, but yea, something like that
Me too!
@Grey: haha … sorry to exclude you from this highly sought after accomplishment!
Haha, no worries, maybe next time!
Sorry I’m unable to listen. I love you guys stuff and would love to hear what you said about Alford and what hope you have for Moniak. I will have try to download again later.
Did you discus Juan Soto and where his stock has moved? If not, what are your thoughts on him?
@Sport: Thanks, Sport. Not sure if you are saying if there was a problem with the download or not. Not sure what the fix is on that.
Alford we both really like a lot. Was talking about how much power he was going to get to. Moniak we are both down on considering his fantasy upside wasn’t huge to begin with and the struggles. Overall, he still profiles as a plus D CF who should hit enough and steal some bags. We do talk about Soto too and how he might have been a top 10 prospect if he stayed healthy, and how much we should discount him, if at all, because of all the lost time.
@Halp: I listened to half of it just now but I have to get back to work! Just finished the bit on Alford.
I’m really excited I have Acuna in both my dynasty’s thanks to you guys. Also have Robles in one and Tucker in another. Plus Willie in both!!!!!
@Sport: Awesome man. It goes without saying that I love your farm system
@Halp: looking forward to hear/reading then 3B ranks (possibly upgrading over Saurez) and 2B/SS (to hear thoughts on Luis Urias).
3B prospects are really picked over right now. Brian Anderson, Austin Rhiley, and Michael Chavis are my only options.
What’s up Halp? Not necessarily a prospect, but what are thoughts long-term on Dahl?
@Jason: Still like him a ton. Definitely wouldn’t be selling low and would be looking to buy. Only 23 and the while all the injuries suck, his upside is worth that risk.
@Halp: Thanks for the feedback.
Halp / Ralph
When you guys mentioned Juan Soto not playing (injury), it reminded me of what was going on with Colton Welker and that there was no solid info explaining his situation … until I checked milb.com to see that Welker played yesterday for the first time since June 15 — so nevermind!
Here’s a question — how concerned should we be regarding Starling Heredia’s struggles after being promoted to A-ball?
Thanks fellas!
@Racehorse: Good to hear on Welker. And wouldn’t be concerned at all about Heredia as an 18 year old in full season ball. Profile is still the same as a high risk power hitter.
Hey Halp! Who would you rather own in a dynasty points league…Florial or Soto? Just traded Siri/Florial for Soto so I’m hoping I made the right decision. This podcast convinced me it’s a good time to buy-low on Soto if anyone is selling. Thanks.
@J.R.: I think that is definitely a solid trade for you. I probably would have done the same. Florial an excellent talent too but with the K issues that Soto doesn’t have.
Great podcast guys
@K2H: Thanks, K2H. Appreciate it
