The top two starting pitcher options on FanDuel tonight are facing off in Philly, and Max Scherzer ($11,200) is the best play of the pair. He’s got a dominant 36.5% K-rate against a Phillies lineup that has struck out 25.7% of the time against righties and is without their best hitter in Bryce Harper. Mad Dog Max has a 2.34 ERA this season and should have another lights-out performance.

Blake Snell, SP: $7,900 – Things have been real ugly for Snell as of late, but he’s still struck out 70 batters in just 47 innings this year. He’s got a lot of upside at this price against a banged-up Mets lineup as an intriguing GPP tournament play.

Seth Brown, 1B: $3,000 – The A’s are a top lineup stack choice tonight in Coors Field, the league’s best hitting environment. Brown is an affordable power flier with eight homers in 144 plate appearances batting in the middle of the Oakland lineup.

Jazz Chisholm, 2B/SS: $3,200 – Chisholm has a premier power and speed skillset with six homers and nine steals on the year, so there’s plenty of ways for him to score points in your lineups. Jazz will be leading off against Mitch Keller, owner of a 6.54 ERA.

Josh Donaldson, 3B: $3,000– Donaldson will be in a spot for both runs and RBI batting second for the Twins against Brad Keller, who has a 5.68 ERA. The veteran slugger is coming off a huge two-home run night and is batting .310 in the last week.

Xander Bogaerts, SS: $3,300 – Bogaerts is surprisingly affordable for a shortstop slashing .312/.373/.538 on the season. He is in a strong spot to drive in runs batting cleanup in the high-powered Red Sox lineup.

Christian Yelich, OF: $3,600 – Yelich showed signs of life with a home run yesterday and has high odds at another one tonight against Matt Peacock and his 1.61 HR/9.

Giancarlo Stanton, OF: $3,400 – Stanton has been cold lately but still has tons of power upside, so he’s a good buy low in GPP tournaments.

Randy Arozarena, OF: $3,500 – Arozarena is a cash game option batting leadoff for the Rays, where he has the potential for extra plate appearances. He’s been running wild with five steals in the last two weeks.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

The weather looks pretty clear tonight with no postponement risks.
