Note: Besides providing advice and news on fantasy baseball, we at Razzball created and sponsor a fantasy baseball variation where the goal is to manage the worst team possible. These Historical Spotlights honor those players who would’ve excelled in such a format. See here for more info. See here for our 2010 Fantasy Razzball […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Grey has already done up his top 100 list for the 2nd half of the season based on his proprietary formula that combines moxie, opinion, cheekiness, and the occasional statistic. Now that Dan Szymborski – the man behind ZiPS projections – is providing free ‘rest of season’ projections at FanGraphs, I figured I’d see what […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
It was the best of teams – it was the worst of teams. Yes, I’m breaking out some Dickensian prose to paint my NL-only and AL-only teams as May comes to a close. Let’s start with the worst team as that’s always more interesting – my AL-only team in a FantasyPros911-sponsored league. While my pre-season […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Jose Lima died yesterday at the age of 37 after suffering a major heart attack. In a career with its ups and downs, Jose was always entertaining. It’s as if he was part baseball player and part wrestler. It’s sadly ironic that he suffered the fate that many wrestlers have met in dying prematurely. RIP […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Fantasy Razzball Standings are up! Click here for the standings. We’ve added a link to the left sidebar for the standings page as well. We’ll try to update it every week or so. Early congrats to Minor League Miner, the unidentified owner of the Flailin’ Mendozas (is that you, Mil Mascaras?), and Troy Patterson of […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
The Fantasy Roundtable question of the week is: Despite the tiny sample, what one player are you most worried about so far? Visit this week’s roundtable @ RotoAuthority to see my answer (which clearly resulted in jinxing Nefty Happy) and others…Please, blog, may I have some more?
Inspired by Seattle’s Doug Fister-Adam Moore battery, we’ve compiled a list of pitcher-batter combinations that, at their worst, make us wincingly smile like a corny Jay Leno weddings segment and, at their best, make us laugh like Jay Leno’s audience does at the aforementioned segment. If you’ve got a got a good one, post it […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
While we at Razzball are content toiling within the modest confines of fantasy baseball blogdom, we occasionally like to flex our journalistic muscles and take on a challenging interview. (Click here for our interview archive.) Our interview subjects in this post are the director (Stephen Palgon) and star (Jed Latkin) of the recently released documentary […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
I had an hour-long conversation last week with Aaron Murray over at RotoSavants on their “Fish Sticks on Wednesday” show. Listen and you’ll see why I stick with blogging…. Part 1: Discussion on ‘expert’ vs. competitive leagues. Part 2: Discuss the Blog Wars draftPlease, blog, may I have some more?
I’m participating in one NL-only and one AL-only league this year. I already covered the AL-only draft – this post covers the NL-only one. This 12 team NL expert league is hosted by our friends over at KFFL – named, of course, after the Kentucky Flag Football League that won $1 in an antitrust suit […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
