Welcome to short slate Thursday. We’ve only got 9 games today which limit our options a bit. But fear not there is still good value to be found such as Taijuan Walker (SP: $7,700) who’s price makes him my favorite pitching option today. This is the first time on the mound for him and he’s staring down a matchup that he can take advantage of. But wait, there’s more! I also like Christian Walker (1B: $3,400) and what he can do in the mile high city. Both Walkers come with the bot’s stamp of approval so fire them up.

I usually try to diversify my team selection but because there aren’t as many games today we ended up with a few stacks.

Corbin Burnes, SP: $9,400 – Hard to pass up a guy that just racked up 11 Ks in his first start. And he made it six innings. We’re looking at monster point potential so the high price is justified.

Lance Lynn, SP: $8,900 – The Rangers could be a team to pick on this season and Lynn is primed to take advantage. His first start was a fine performance and he should make it out of the fifth inning this time.

Pete Alonso, 1B: $3,500 – He’s been hitting well out of the gate and the bombs are about to start flying. Love it.

Marcus Semien, 2B: $3,500 – Other than his average he’s off to a fine start this year. The supporting cast is strong and as a plus, he’s eligible at both second and short.

Josh Rojas, 2B: $2,900 – He’s actually the projected number one option at second according to the all knowing bot. Sadly, Marte should be out for today’s contest which opens a path to playing time.

Ryan McMahon, 3B: $3,700 – McMahon is a great example of  the type of guy you want in DFS. When he’s at home in fantasy friendly Coors he’s a fine play and when he’s on the road you fade him. Well he’s at home today so grab him.

Jeff McNeil, 3B: $2,500 – After a delayed start, he’s ready to get his season on track. I’m in on him this year and only a couple games in, that hasn’t changed.

Bo Bichette, SS: $3,200 – Fresh off a pair of bombs there’s no reason he can’t keep that power binge going. You love to see it and I’m here for it.

Kevin Newman, SS: $2,200 – Looking for a really cheap option at short? Newman could just be the answer to your prayers. He won’t light the world on fire but can definitely provide value at this price.

Christian Yelich, OF: $3,800 – Talk about a hot start to the season. Yeli is hitting over .300 and scoring runs. Now we just need some bombs and RBIs. The revenge tour in underway so those should start piling up.

Michael Conforto, OF: $3,100 – Time for him to bust outta that slump in a big way. It’s actually not really much of a slump since it’s only a couple of games. It’s just a matter of time until the hits start flowing.

Tommy Edman, OF: $3,000 – He’s not great in any one area but he’s good at pretty much everything offensively. Plus he’s entrenched atop the order.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Could be some light rain in Chicago and Minnesota. Doesn’t seem like either game will be too impacted as both cities are projected for the rain to dissipate around first pitch.

Doing Lines In Vegas

A pair of tens in Toronto and Houston and an eleven in Colorado so get those bats up. Giving the people what they want.
