Mauledbypandas stretched his lead in the overall standings to 4.2 points with another impressive week, hitting .298 with 16 home runs and 51 RBI, as well as recording a 2.58 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 52.1 innings. Movers and Shakers: Smokey (Smoke Em If Ya Got Em) gained 16.7 points and moved up 211 spots to 193rd and Batter Face (Hu Are Yu) jumped 210 places to 330th. One Man Wolf Pack (Magnificent Mustachioed Men) has been steadily improving, going from 723rd on May 6th to 355th.

Free Agents: Frustrated Andre Ethier and Brett Lawrie owners have begun the dumping process. Lawrie became available in 9 Razzball Commenter Leagues this week, while Ethier ownership is down to 70%. Colby Rasmus has been heating up, and is now 90% owned Tyler Skaggs is owned in 29 leagues as he returns to face the Cards tonight, while some are waiting to see if sticks in the rotation. Yasiel Puig jumped from 19% owned to 100%, while Marcell Ozuna went from 25% to 97%. Ike Davis is now taken in half the leagues, as owners remember he was hitting .158 with 5 home runs on June 8th last year; he then hit .265 with 27 home runs the rest of the way. Zack Wheeler’s ownership continues to grow as his callup is imminent. He’s available in just 7 leagues now.

EXPERTS: For the seventh consecutive week, Mike Podhorzer (RotoGraphs) holds down top spot, while Rudy remains in second for the 6th straight week. Mike hit .293 with 43 runs, 14 home runs, and 45 RBI, and also led the league with 8 saves. Rudy`s strength was his starting pitching, with 55 K in 55.1 innings, 6 wins, an ERA of 1.95, and 0.98 WHIP. His season ERA dropped from 3.44 to 3.28, and his WHIP fell from 1.21 to 1.19. Paul Singman was even a bit better, with 60 strikeouts, an ERA of 1.90, and 0.97 WHIP. Grey hit .310 and led the Experts with 50 runs, 14 home runs, and 54 RBI. Writers: Andrew Nordmeier continues to lead the Razzball Elite, but is now feeling the pressure of the terrifying Tehol. Mr. Beddict gained 9-and-a-half points on the strength of a .320 average, 20 home runs, and 50 RBI. He raised his average 9 points to .257. Plus, his pitching staff finished with a WHIP of 0.95. Trades: Pitching for hitting highlighted many of the 18 trades this week. Kris Medlen was dealt for Wilin Rosario in one league and Nolan Arenado in another. Yu Darvish was swapped for Bryce Harper. Jordan Zimmermann landed Chris Davis. Matt Harvey was enough to acquire Hanley Ramirez and Nate McClouth. Madison Bumgarner was traded straight up for Jean Segura in the 2012 RCL Champions league, and packaged with Gerardo Parra for Dexter Fowler and John Axford in the ECFBL. In a starter for closer deal, Shelby Miller was traded for Glen Perkins. Mark Trumbo was traded in two leagues, for Starling Marte and Jason Heyward. Shin-Soo Choo, Adam Wainwright, Matt Cain, Jose Reyes, Carl Crawford, and Joe Mauer also changed teams this week. You can check out all the trades in the Fantasy Baseball Forums. Natural Born Champs (Double Platinum Haters) took hitting honors this week with a .301 average, 57 runs, 23 home runs, an RCL-leading 68 RBI, and 9 stolen bases. Domonic Brown (.444/8 Runs/7 HR/13 RBI/2 SB) was a one-man wrecking crew. Edwin Encarnacion (.333/6 Runs/3 HR/9 RBI) was also hot, while Nelson Cruz, Matt Joyce, and Neil Walker put up some nice numbers. The Champs lead all teams in home runs for the season now with 126.

Cliff Lee (2 Wins/19 K/2.30/0.70) and Dan Straily (1 Win/1.50/0.92) each tossed two strong games. Bartolo Colon and Jeff Samardzija threw shutouts, and Eric Stults added a 12-K effort. Edward Mujica had 3 saves while Jose Veras and Glen Perkins recorded 2 each. The week propelled Eddy`s team to the overall lead in WHIP for the season.

It was the fourth week in a row they recorded an ERA under 2.50, and the third consecutive week with a sub-1.00 WHIP. Adam Wainwright (15 K/2.12/1.18) and Cliff Lee led the way with 2 victories each. Mat Latos also had two fine starts, while Michael Wacha allowed just 2 baserunners in 7 innings. Domonic Brown paced the offense, with capable support from Dexter Fowler (.385/6 Runs/2 HR/7 RBI/2 SB). Matt Carpenter, Nelson Cruz, Neil Walker, and Nick Markakis chipped in 16 runs and 16 RBI while hitting .352.
