It has not been a fun ride for Chris Sale ($8,400) owners, but it was encouraging that he was able to average 95 mph on his fastball last time out. This could be the start that Sale finally turns things around, as he faces an abysmal Tigers lineup that has just a .256 wOBA versus left-handed pitching, the lowest mark in all of baseball. Sale is still a risky play, so I’d try to avoid him in cash games, but there’s a ton of profit to be made in GPP contests at this price.

Zack Wheeler, SP: $7,900 – Wheeler is another guy who should bounce back sooner rather than later, and a start in pitcher-friendly Citi Field may be all he needs. The Phillies aren’t a bad lineup, but they’re weaker without Jean Segura and Odubel Herrera. Again, it’s tough to avoid him at this low of a price.
Jose Abreu, 1B: $2,800 –Abreu showed some signs of life last night with a homer and five RBI. Don’t be surprised if he goes deep again off Andrew Cashner, owner of a 5.90 FIP. Consider stacking Abreu with teammates Leury Garcia and Yoan Moncada.
Jonathan Villar, 2B: $3,500 – Villar is in a good spot to produce batting leadoff for the Orioles against Ivan Nova, who enters Tuesday with a 6.23 ERA. Villar also gets to take advantage of a fantastic hitter’s environment in Baltimore.
Alex Bregman, 3B: $4,300 – Bregman has been mashing as usual, with a .314/.430/.543 line including four homers and two steals. Opposing starter Michael Pineda got blown up his last time out, so don’t be surprised if the Astros lineup puts up some runs.
Francisco Lindor, SS: $4,000 – It is a wonderful feeling to have Lindor back on the field. He is a fantasy stud that you can get at a modest price on FanDuel.
Victor Robles, OF: $3,700 – Cheap Coors Field bat? Yes please!
Mookie Betts, OF: $3,900 – This is likely the cheapest Betts will be all year, just because he got off to a cold start. Betts will obviously rebound, so you should take advantage at this price.
Ronald Acuna Jr., OF: $4,200 – Acuna has extreme upside no matter where he plays, but a hitter’s park in Cincinnati makes things even more exciting.
