Technical difficulties forced us to re-record the final 45 minutes of the podcast, and Grey came out extra punchy for the second take. One second he is threatening to strangle me, and the next he is professing his love for me. Speaking of love, Grey also reveals that he was actually trying to get a job the first time he accidently hit on Cougs at the Chiropractor’s office (he still struggles to get her to read his scripts). On the fantasy baseball side, we cover a lot of ground, starting with Starling Marte, Carlos Rodon, Franklin Barreto, and Blake Snell, before moving on to some players on the rise, including Cody Bellinger, Trey Mancini, Mike Montgomery, and Travis Shaw. Finally, I congratulate MattTruss for absolutely dominating the Razzball Only FantasyDraft Contest last week, and look forward to attempt to take him down in tonight’s contest. It’s the latest edition of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast:

Hahaha, damn! No credit at all! Harsh, Grey! Great job, guys.

Also, what are the chances we can talk Kenneth Cashman into a limited edition Razzball shirt for Rotowear. Maybe something like SAGNOFACE that mimics the SCARFACE cover? Just throwing that out there… I’m ready to pre-order now.

@mikeMaher: I know, cold blooded. And thanks!

Seems there could be a conflict of interest with the SAGNOF shirts that Razzball already sells and promotes on the homepage … in my professional opinion, of course :)

        @Halp:

Haha, but we could make them different enough to make it happen! Maybe we even open up discussions about making Rotowear the official Razzball shirt designer. Draw up the agreement papers, Halp!

@mikeMaher: haha … Grey’s got Legal Zoom. He’s all set.

          • @Halp:

I think Halp might have a point. But maybe we could bend the rules if you guys need me to design Jose Canseco Razzball jersey’s

    The shirts sound awesome!

I was offered Honeywell for my Cueto in a 16 team dynasty. I’m in rebuild mode. I wanted Honeywell to help rebuild the staff but I need more Cueto. How much more do you think?

    • Halp

      Halp says:
      (link)

@Sport: Considering you aren’t selling Cueto at his highest, and are looking for pitching, Honeywell is an excellent get for him. I would try to get one lesser prospect back in return as well. That seems fair to me. I do like Cueto to have a strong 2nd half, and he is only 31 years old, so you might be able to get more.

      • Sport says:
        (link)

@Halp: He just offered Faria and Honeywell for Cueto. That’s two SP in the AL east for a national league guy. What would you do?

        • Halp

          Halp says:
          (link)

@Sport: That is a pretty good offer if you are set on moving Cueto for pitching. I don’t love that they are both AL East guys, though. I have to say personally I might not pull the trigger, just because I particularly like Cueto and don’t love getting AL East pitching prospects. Objectively, I think that is a fair offer. Sorry if this doesn’t help, ha

          • Sport says:
            (link)

@Halp: It does help. Something about it just doesn’t feel right so I’m glad to hear your opinion on it.

            Thanks for you do!

Lord Halp, do you like this get for 16 team Dynasty league h2h

Bryce Harper, Yoan Moncada for Anthony Rizzo, Corey Dickerson & Nick Senzel, i’d be getting Rizzo side, mostly want the trade cause Rizzo will acquire 2B elig in yahoo with one more game, what you think m’lord, id run out Mazara,Benintendi,Sunday Santana & Avisail Garcia for my 3 OF spots + Dickerson, yay or nay

    • Halp

      Halp says:
      (link)

@tjvera: hahahah … I’m going with nay. Not sure Dickerson is worth the Harper to Rizzo downgrade and Moncada to Senzel downgrade. But I guess it depends on how much you want to bank on Dickerson staying basically elite or close to it.

      • tjvera says:
        (link)

        @Halp:

Do you think once Rizzo gets that 2B elig that would make him top 2B for this year and next? I feel like his numbers and harper could be a wash

        • Halp

          Halp says:
          (link)

@tjvera: I think Altuve would still hold the top spot, but 2B eligibility is definitely a big plus. I definitely see the allure of the trade. Rizzo can approximate what Harper does, or maybe exceed it and with 2B eligibility, and you are swapping one top prospect for another. All with Dickerson on top. It’s an interesting move. I just don’t love giving up the best player and the best prospect in the deal.

  4. Great podcast as always guys, although I’m kinda bummed I didn’t get any thunder this time. For anyone interested in a shirt, the Razzball hook up is 15% off with the promo code: SAGNOF

Halp/Grey – assuming keeper contracts are equal, who do you like better over the next three years – Judge or Bellinger?

Also, is anyone else excited as shit to see Rodon Cartegena back in action tomorrow? I feel like I foolishly rank him 30 spots too high every year. That dude is my Joe Ross.

      @Kenneth Cashman:

Shirts look awesome! I am ordering one as soon as I get back from a long 4th of July weekend.

      • @mikeMaher: Thanks man. I see you’re in South FL too, if Trevor Bauer will lend me his drone I can upgrade your order to one day shipping free of charge!

    • Halp

      Halp says:
      (link)

@Kenneth Cashman: Thanks Kenny! Basically flip a coin on that one. In a keep forever dynasty or long term, I would go Bellinger, but for the next 3 years, I might lean Judge. Basically flip a coin. And fantasy could definitely use another legit, breakout young starter, so while I don’t love Rodon, hope he does breakout.

      • @Halp: Thanks Halp. I’m getting creamed in one keeper league this season, trying to figure out which between the two I should target and offer the kitchen sink for. I feel like Rodon can be elite if he figures out how to consistently throw strikes. If he ever gets a pair of Rick Vaughn’s eyeglasses, watch out!

        • Halp

          Halp says:
          (link)

@Kenneth Cashman: hahah … and getting either of them would do fine. Probably throw the kitchen sink at both and see which owner bites

  5. David says:

Drop odor for Marte? Or faria peacock or rich hill? (Lots of depth @sp already)

Great podcast as usual. Thanks and keep it up gentlemen. =]

    • Halp

      Halp says:
      (link)

@David: Definitely don’t drop Odor. I would drop one of the pitchers, especially because you are deep at starter. Tough choice between them though. I’ve been down on Hill, although his last 2 starts have been better. It would be between Faria or Hill for me, with a slight lean towards dropping Faria. Tough to do it with him pitching so well though.

      And thanks!

Bumgarner for Braun in Roto. Where pitching is hard to come across

      • Halp

@Halp: Or if you are the one getting Bumgarner, then I’m going for it.
