Please, blog, may I have some more?Revisiting the top 20 rankings list for 2B. In a weak position, there is still plenty of help available to fantasy players.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Yesterday, the Vatican elected a Pope from Chicago. Call him Da Pope. The first American Pope, and the first Pope to have opinions on whether or not Harold Baines is a Hall of Famer. What’s this I’m hearing–[finger to ear bud]–Jerry Reinsdorf is being excommunicated. Oh my. Cubs tried to lay claim to the new […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Today I’m dropping what many of you have asked for – my Points league’s top 150 hitters for the rest of the season. Well, technically, you asked for my rankings, but this is close enough. I’ll be the first to acknowledge, I’m not really a general “rankings guru” like many in the industry are…or attempt […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Whaddya say, let’s do a Nick Kurtz post every other day for the rest of the season. For unstints: Random starter pitches well, I write a lede about him, “Yay, Max Meyer, you complete me, not ‘me’ like Renée Zellweger, but ‘me’ as in a 14-strikeout game,” or whoever pitches well, then the next day’s […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? This week’s article is going to take a look at my top 20 ranking list for 2B-eligible players. We are at the point in the season where some hitting metrics, especially plate discipline numbers, are starting to stabilize, so we can actually make a few somewhat educated assessments of how players look this year. We’re […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? For those of you who aren’t fantasy baseball degenerates like I am, you’re probably right in the middle of your main drafting season. I, on the other hand, am finishing up 6 months of drafting… The first step is acknowledging I have a problem. I’m hopeful my obsession at least can benefit Razzball readers. All […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Every year when we approach spring training and I hear the words “pitchers and catchers report”, I’m reminded of the old Counting Crows song, Long December. The first few lyrics of the song go something like “It’s been a long December and there’s reason to believe, maybe this year will be better than the last.” […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Grey and B_Don continue the positional rankings with the 2B position on this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast. Do the guys trust anyone at this position? Listen and find out who we like more than each other. We talk about who we’ve drafted and who we don’t want at all at current ADP. We finish […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Greetings as we close out January, virtual baseball friends! I’m going to do something this week that I’ve never done here at Razzball before and post a good old-fashioned draft recap. We’ll be looking at a team I drafted back in December after deciding to throw my hat into the ring of an NFBC 12-team, […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Another week has come and gone, but back again this week is the Top 400 Dynasty Players for 2025.
This week I highlight the players I have ranked between 125 and 101.
As provided before, here is a quick breakdown of the 25 players in the rankings this week:
Let’s provide a quick breakdown of the 25 players in the rankings this week before diving into the rankings:
Age 20-24 – 4
Age 25-29 – 16
Age 30-34 – 5
Position Breakdown
SP – 5
1B – 3 | 2B – 6 | SS – 1
OF – 7
IF – 2
C – 1
The age range makes sense as anyone should start going for the younger players at this point outside of the top players who are older than 30. So seeing 16 players listed who are between the ages of 25-29 is not a surprise.
When it comes to the position breakdown, you see a lot of second basemen – six in fact – in this grouping. While there are some differences in the second basemen you will read about, these six players will basically provide the same production – though some of it coming in homers, some in steals or a combination. But overall, they are very similar to each other. Losing out on one of them shouldn’t be horrible if there are three more on the board waiting for you.
Now on to the rankings.
Please, blog, may I have some more? The top 20 shortstops for 2025 fantasy baseball are Daddy Warbucks and all of you are greedy Little Orphan Annies with your hands out wanting more, more, more. That’s all right, due to a high-yield savings account in the British Virgin Islands that he hasn’t paid taxes on for twenty years, Warbucks has plenty to […]
