This week’s article is going to take a look at my top 20 ranking list for 2B-eligible players. We are at the point in the season where some hitting metrics, especially plate discipline numbers, are starting to stabilize, so we can actually make a few somewhat educated assessments of how players look this year. We’re […]

In our 87th episode, Mike Couillard and Jeremy Brewer open by talking about the return of the man with power thighs and a glorious mustache along with the latest transactions and injuries. Then we overview which current minor leaguers are worth stashing in reserve spots on our fantasy teams before evaluating who might be next. You can […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Put on my Dale Murphy jersey, placed my Jimmy Carter coaster under my glass bottle Classic Coke, said five “Jane Fondas” as I threw a dart dead-center into my Ted Turner dartboard. I was locked into the A-T-L, and you could tell because I was asking everyone to call me Grey 3000 while singing apologies […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Marlins RHP Adam Mazur (23, AAA) struggled as a rookie with the Padres last season and found himself and his 7.49 ERA on a flight to Miami. He’s been much better as a Triple-A pitcher this year than he was last year, posting a 1.29 ERA and 0.63 WHIP in three games covering 14.1 innings. He pitched to a 4.73 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in 93.1 innings last year, so an off-season with a new organization has done him some good. Miami has Cal Quantrill and Connor Gillispie in the rotation right now, so you can’t exactly say Mazur is blocked. They’re actually playing .500 baseball right now in South Beach at eight-and-eight. Probably not wise to bet on that continuing, but I thought it might take them until May to collect eight wins. Griffin Conine, Kyle Stowers, Xavier Edwards and Matt Mervis are all playing well and creating some optimism in the Wins category for investors in fishy pitchers.

Please, blog, may I have some more? The intention was good. The rankings were being worked on. The notes were made. Then I realized all the interesting outliers were from the same team! Then we went over 500 words on them and just figured that would be enough. Jose Caballero is ranked eighth at the moment. He is ranked 36th for the […]

An Excitement Facial is something you want to take part in and is extremely fun! Geez, sorry, you don’t have to punch me! When the creator of the Soderstrom sold […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? It’s funny to me that every season we forget the ridiculous amount of pitcher injuries that happened the season before. This year may seem like we have a lot of pitchers getting hurt, but this is literally every season. Can you remember April of 2024 when we lost Spencer Strider, Shane Bieber, and Eury Perez […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? What’s wrong with Elly De La Cruz? Only three stolen bases over two weeks into the season. This isn’t the guy Grey drafted. Being on pace for a 30/30 season is so old school. These guys in the stolen base leaderboard below are the real heroes. Look at all these names you could have had […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?We are nearly 10% of the way into the MLB season, high time to make snap judgements on all our teams and every player in the league. So let’s gather around the Festivus table and find the outfielders who have most disappointed us over the past two+ weeks. I thought of searching in the crawl […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Americans (at least pre-tariff Americans) would feel very adept at navigating a slate like tonight, but in actuality, they would be prone to massive bias. There are just too many options and while Americans have been used to plentiful options throughout the past 50 years at least, we are prone to bias as a way […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?On this week’s episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about some players that have gotten off to opposing starts. We begin the show with some guys who have started the season well, and we discuss whether we think Kyren Paris, Tyler Soderstrom, and Easton Lucas are for real. Then, it’s […]
