Eduardo?  More like, Eduar…dough, amirite?  No one?  Alright, I understand, Eduardo Rodriguez ($9,800) has been far from money this season but that 3.34 FIP and that 11.3 K/9 just keep drawing me in and suggest we should see a really strong finish for Eddie.  That strong finish started three starts ago, since that game it’s been 16.1 IP, 2 ER, and 24 strikeouts.  Yum.  Tonight, it’s the Texas Rangers coming to town with their league-worst .657 team OPS.  Double yum.  The only thing that can stop Eddie from a money performance is if Hurricane Henri decides to speed up and land before Sunday.  As of right now, this game should play without any issue and I’m looking to cash in.

Joe Musgrove, SP: $9,400 – The main slate tonight is five games, so ten pitchers to chose from, and outside of Eddie, I don’t like any of them.  Musgrove burned me so hard against the Diamondbacks that my recency bias is kicking into overdrive.  This should be a solid match-up for Joe, at home, the Phils are no great shakes, they are without Hoskins, it should add up to a nice outing, but watch him go 2.1 and give up 7 ER.  I’d play him, but I won’t be happy about it.

Freddie Freeman, C/1B: $4,400 – I am giddy for this match-up.  The Braves don’t get to hit in Coors East (Camden Yards) very often.  We’ve got tropical storm humidity along the east coast making for some juicy hitting weather.  Freeman against a weak lefty, in these conditions, is just too good.

Christian Walker, C/1B: $3,700 – Did I mention we also have a Coors game on this slate?  Goodness, for a small slate, we should have plenty of fireworks tonight.

Enrique Hernandez, 2B: $3,600 – It’s Jordan Lyles and the 5.70 FIP time for Boston tomorrow.  That, along with the humidity is going to send the ball out of Fenway in a hurry.

Mike Moustakas, 2B: $2,300 – Moose is basically free and still has plenty of pop in his bat for a flyer.

Asdrubal Cabrera, 3B: $3,500 – Just some more cheap Coors exposure for you, but I’m really interested in the cheaper play at 3B.

Ke’Bryan Hayes, 3B: $2,900 – J.A. Happ is toast, I don’t think the Cardinals can fix him either.  I really like Ke’Bryan to take Happ yard tonight.

Nick Ahmed, SS: $3,500 – This is what Coors does, it turns Nick Ahmed into a great $/point play.  If you have the leftover cash, go with Story, otherwise, it’s all Nick, all day.

Kyle Schwarber, OF: $3,700 – I am excited to see Schwarber go on a tear at Fenway, but he’s been quiet so far.  Maybe tonight is the night he hits a few over the monster.

Ryan Mountcastle, OF: $3,300 – The Braves/O’s has a high run total, so I’d be remiss if I didn’t toss a few Orioles in here.  Drew Smyly has not been great and I don’t expect him to keep them all in the park tonight.

Sam Hilliard, OF: $2,900 – Connor Joe taking the leadoff spot and running with it has Sam Hilliard a little left out.  While Joe has popped to $3,600, Hilliard is still hanging out down here sub 3K.  Take the money and run.

Jarren Duran, OF: $2,500 – Scouring the dregs of the OF and Duran is about the cheapest play I could find that I’d still roster.  Just make sure you check the lineup as it’s probably him or Enrique in there.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

As I mentioned, the east coast is keeping an eye on Henri.  As of now, we’re safe, but these things could change, so keep an eye out.  If Henri stays out to sea, we’re going to have hot, humid weather in Baltimore and Boston.

Doing Lines In Vegas

We have big numbers (11.5) in Coors (obviously) and Baltimore (10.5).  Our smallest run total this evening is in San Diego (8 runs).  E-Rod and the Sawx are HUGE favorites at -330, so expect Eddie to be very chalky.  If you want to get cute, Drew Smyly and the Braves are -195 favorites, but that over/under is enough to keep me away from that.  The Cards are -190, but that means trusting J.A. Happ and I do not, but you do you.
