Pete Alonso ($3,500) is batting .319 over the last two weeks and gets a strong matchup tonight against Nationals lefty Sean Nolin, who has a 6.57 ERA. Alonso has a 144 wRC+ against left-handed pitching this year, and he is part of a strong Mets stack that includes Francisco Lindor ($3,300) and Javier Baez ($3,400). These Mets hitters are very affordable and a great way to differentiate from the rest of the field, who will surely be playing lots of hitters in the Braves-Rockies game, so they should be a priority target in GPP tournaments.

Shohei Ohtani, SP: $10,800 – Ohtani has enormous upside tonight as he takes on a dismal Rangers lineup with a .295 wOBA against righties. Ohtani has a 29.9% K-rate and is pitching on extra rest, so he should dazzle us all once again on his MVP campaign.

Nathan Eovaldi, SP: $9,100 – Eovaldi has a bit less upside than Ohtani but is at a cheaper price as he takes on Cleveland. Eovaldi has an awesome 2.81 FIP and faces a lineup with a poor .305 wOBA versus right-handers.

Brendan Rodgers, 2B/SS: $2,800 – It’s rare to find a hitter in Coors Field for this cheap, so Rodgers is an outstanding play in cash games for his high floor. He will bat second for the Rockies and is hitting .303 at home this year.

Yoan Moncada, 3B: $3,500– Moncada has a strong 128 wRC+ against righties and hits second in a stacked White Sox lineup.

Dansby Swanson, SS: $3,700– The Braves will be the most popular lineup tonight, but for good reason in the hitter’s paradise of Colorado. Many of the Atlanta hitters are quite expensive, so Swanson is a reasonable way to get some exposure to them.

Kyle Schwarber, OF: $3,400 – Schwarber is always a threat to go deep when playing at home in Fenway Park, and he’s been crushing it for the Red Sox batting .339 in the last month.

Akil Baddoo, OF: $3,000 – Baddoo has homered in back-to-back games and will be leading off for the Tigers. He faces Vlad Gutierrez, who has a 4.85 FIP.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

White Sox-Royals and Braves-Rockies could see a bit of rain, but probably no threats for postponements.

Doing Lines In Vegas

The Mets should really be stronger favorites than -135 against a terrible Nationals team.
