Dan Haren ($8,500) stands to be one of the better values on DraftKings today against a Rockies team that really struggles away from Colorado. Haren has been solid of late outside of a tough recent outing against the same Rockies at Coors (5 ER). The rematch in Los Angeles today should go much more smoothly, however. In his three other September starts, Haren allowed only two earned runs with 18 strikeouts in 20 innings pitched. Meanwhile, the Rockies have a 75 wRC+ on the road this season, making them a great match-up for both streamers and daily fantasy when they are away. It’s been fun talking DFS this season and good luck in the final weekend!

New to DraftKings? Scared of feeling like a small fish in a big pond? Well try out this 10 teamer of Razzball writers and friends to wet your DK whistle. Rafael Montero, SP: $5,900 – Fun thing about September baseball is that we get the occasional spot start for streamer/DFS purposes. This start sets up nicely for Montero, who has had trouble with his control but brings a nice 8.3 K/9 to the table. The Astros have the highest strikeout percentage in baseball against right-handers (24%). This start may end up being even better than Haren’s considering Montero’s price tag.

Hunter Pence, OF: $3,600 – Pence has been cold of late, but it brings his price all the way down to the mid-3K range and that makes him worth a gamble. He’s got great numbers against the lefty Eric Stults. In 33 at bats, Pence is hitting .303/.294/.606 with three homers against the Padre southpaw.

Todd Frazier, 3B: $4,400 – Frazier sat out yesterday’s game and from my couch the man looked like a caged animal in the dugout. He has two homers in his past seven games despite a poor batting average and he’ll face off against lefty Francisco Liriano today. In 20 at bats, the Reds’ third baseman is hitting .300/.391/.650 with two home runs against him.

Anthony Rizzo, 1B: $4,800 – Rizzo gets the platoon advantage against right-hander Wily Peralta today. In 21 at bats, Rizzo has hit .429 with five homers against Peralta. My only concern with the Rizzo play today is his home/road split. He’s hitting a bit better at home this year and this game is in Milwaukee.
