What is up party people? We all love guys who come out hot but sometimes it takes them a minute to get things going at the plate. Michael Harris II is not only alive he is thriving. Did you know he’s batting over .400 the past two weeks? Not only that he has 4 home runs and 4 doubles in that span. That is a man on a mission. He might be a little streaky but I really hope you held onto him through his rough start because he is a stud and he is about to make you regret it if you dropped him.

Eddie Rosario now there’s an unexpected name. He lit the world on fire a few years ago then completely dropped off the face of it. I should know because I took him way too early in a dynasty league last season and, well… it bit me in the you know where. Anyways, he is scorching right now and this could be a resurgence for him. The Braves offense is pretty stacked so there is a ton of potential here.

Leody Taveras might not be the Rangers outfielder I expected to see topping the leader board but here we are. I underrated their offense going into the season, and that’s on me. However, they lead the league in runs and batting average so Taveras is primed to continue his impressive campaign.

Christopher Morel is streaky as all heck but when he’s on he is on baby. He is what he is at this point and unfortunately, we just have to live with that. I don’t have a magic 8 Ball that will tell me when he is going on a tear but he has such great upside that I want him.

Gunnar Henderson is now officially a thing. He was a preseason darling that struggled right out of the gate, but that slow start is behind him. The man has incredible talent, it was only a matter of time until he asserted himself. Enjoy the ride.

Jordan Walker oh you didn’t think I wouldn’t bring him up? Oh, I will talk about him every chance I get. He’s now on a 13 game hit streak and will almost certainly be sent back down (a joke I stole from the writers group chat). He’s the real deal and I love him.

LaMonte Wade Jr is riding high. He’s had some good stretches before but it may not be a regular thing. The platoon might still be in play but he does make the most of his at bats, often at the top of a lineup that has suddenly become one of the hottest in baseball. If you have the lineup flexibility to deploy him against right handed pitchers then you’ve got it made.

Mike Yastrzemski is hopefully making Carl proud. I like to think he is and he has to be feeling himself after a two homer game where he walked it off with an absolute monster of a splash hit. He knew it as soon as he made contact and it was beautiful.

Isaac Paredes is a Ray and honestly, that means he’s a top 20 hitter. Ok, that’s a bit of an exaggeration but the Rays do seem to have a way of pumping out great fantasy players. As for Isaac, he has decent pop and an ok batting average but runs and RBIs should be there with his supporting cast. Yep, that’s a player to like. Somehow, someway they find a way to keep doing it.

Jake McCarthy took a little tumble to the minors but he made the most of his time there and looks like the guy we saw at the end of last season. He’s speed forward but can also get on base and should soon be racking up doubles. And that, ladies and gents, will lead to him racking up points.

Aaron Hicks sure seems to like Baltimore a whole heck of a lot better than New York. I really thought he was done for but, would you look at that, he has been swinging a hot bat (.289 with a couple of bombs). He’s not gonna light the world on fire, but there could be something there as a fourth or fifth outfielder.

Zach Neto may be out with an oblique strain but he was looking like a solid hitter prior to his trip to the IL. He hasn’t gotten back to baseball activities yet but I am definitely keeping an eye on his progress. Before getting hurt he he was showing some pop and speed with a batting average that won’t make you regret every decision you’ve ever made.
