“Sleepers” is one of fantasy sports’ oldest and best terms, with roots in early-20th-century boxing and horse racing. It’s always been used to describe competitors with hidden upside who surface when it matters most. Last week, our hitter profiles focused on a group of deep sleepers going after pick 325 in early drafts representing the types of players you can stash late while filling out the back end of your roster. This week, we move up the food chain. These hitters will be discussed in draft rooms as we head toward Opening Day, but their prices still lag behind their potential outcomes. The goal here is simple: identify the best mid-round values among players who may be on the verge of a meaningful jump. We’re digging into early ADP data to find hitters whose underlying profiles suggest there’s more coming in 2026 than the market is currently pricing in.

Welcome back to my positional rankings. I hope everyone had an outstanding week.

This week is the Top 50 Dynasty Right Fielders for 2026 – the final positional rankings as we have reached the end of the positions. OK, that is not entirely true as I never had a breakdown of designated hitters, but that has been taken care of lower down in the column.

As a whole, I really like this position group as it has a lot of talent and depth. This past season, right fielders slashed .242/.315/.415 in 2025, ranking tied for 5th, 4th and 2nd in those three categories when compared to the other positions. The group also ranked 2nd in OPS and wRC+. Basically, if you are looking for hitters, this is a group where you can find a lot of them. And overall, this is a pretty young group of players.

1. C Samuel Basallo | 21 | MLB | 2025

Click here to read Grey’s 2026 Fantasy Outlook for Basallo

In the article, Grey is frustrated by Baltimore’s service-time machinations. Those same concerns caused me to dread writing this list for a few days. I’m not sure why. I used to have little trouble cruising through even the organizations I didn’t love following, but I start feeling like a liar at some point when I’m telling you about a Rockies or Orioles prospect like he’s going to matter someday soon. Then again, they do sneak through sometimes, and Basallo could give you a Hunter Goodman sized boost in the power categories if Baltimore lets him learn on the job. He’s not going to catch everyday with Adley in town, but who knows how much longer Adley will be in town? His production and health are both in downward spirals, and Basallo slugged .589 with 23 home runs in just 76 Triple-A games in 2025. Dang. Managed 27 bombs in 107 games on the year if you combine his minor league dominance with his 31-game big league sample. He’s the rare case where I’ll look past the org setting and cross my fingers he’ll get enough playing time to impact redraft leagues.

“I told you Brandon Pfaadt was a sleeper!” That was when the mob formed outside Grey’s house. Many stamped pitchforks into the ground, a few carried crates of overly ripe tomatoes. The mob’s leader, Razzball Commenter #1, addressed the crowd, “We shouldn’t bother with the tomatoes or pitchforks. It’s too much work. Instead, I’ve printed […]

Happy Saturday, Razzball faithful! It was an evening of excitement, mixed with a bit of bated breath as the most patient fantasy managers in the universe (aka the ones that stashed Bubba Chandler for longer than most of us did) finally got to experience the sweetness of the fruit of self-control that had been rotting […]
