Beware the dominant young pitcher. I love these three, but that makes me all the more scared. Burns might hold onto prospect eligibility in 50-inning dynasty leagues. He’s reportedly going to pitch out of the bullpen the rest of 2025.

Benge has gone basically 0-for his first two weeks in Triple-A. He might’ve landed even higher here if he’d adapted in a snap like he did at the other levels.

If I had a lot of confidence in any of these other guys, I’d put them ahead of him, but this feels like a collection of pieces in flux. Morales has to pitch in Sacramento. De Paula has to learn how to lift the ball. Same goes for Arias. It’s pretty easy for my brain to suggest White and Ramirez belong atop this tier. It’s a weird time of year. I’ll feel better about all this after I do all the organizational rankings.

Eduardo Quintero got that same treatment for his September 16th birthday.
