The first week of action is underway, and it’s time to punch our way into the season!  On today’s show we talk the never-ending Trevor Story homeruns, if Carlos Correa could be the #1 pick next year, and my addiction to Joe Ross.  He’s just sooooo good, that I illustrate it with pictures!  We also have some mutual concern for Dallas Keuchel, debate if Delino DeShields was overreached for by Grey, and then play America’s favorite game:  Ben Revere or Denard Span?!  This is gonna become a thing, dammit!  Here’s our latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:

Looking forward to listening, JB! Delino has had some good games. And it’s only been like a week. DeShields is still up! DeShields is still up!

@JakeTPE: Hahaha yeah I’m not that worried either, but I gotta give Grey a hard time at every opportunity!

@JB Gilpin: Definitely. And great intro! Lots of punch!

@JakeTPE: Hah thanks man! Actually listening to it back and thinking on it, I think it’s an audio editing thing, and I sound quieter since I’m coming in over the fading out music… So I might look into even more punchiness!

Nice little behind the scenes cackles there at the end. Little sneaky bonus feature JB, good stuff!

@knucks: Hahaha thanks! Yeah that was too funny not to be a little easter egg at the end ha

@JB Gilpin: Great listen JB! The intro is excellent, I’m not embarrassed(maybe just a little) to say I sing along to the song at my work desk. And yes more outtakes at the end, that was great. Keep up the good work!

@pbmax: Thanks man, and that’s awesome! Pumps us up for sure. And yeah we don’t ever make edits, I just hit record and after a minute or two count it down, this time that minute earlier was fannnnntastic haha

Hey JB, let me start by saying awesome work. enjoy reading your stuff man.

let me get to the point. Just wanted to get your take on my pitching staff
in my 10 man h2h league. People in the league noted my staff ” to be the
    weakest in the league”.

8 SP: Kluber, Carrasco, Pineda, Corbin, Rodon, Joe Ross, Vince Velasquez,
Cody Anderson(will probably drop once DeSclafani goes on the DL), A. DeSclafani,
    Stashed: Alex Cobb (DL)

2 RP: Luke G, Santiago Casilla. Currently have K.Giles and don’t know what to do
with him. (My closers are pretty weak sauce i think) thoughts?

    – Any pitchers you would drop or get value of right now in a trade?

    Thanks man.

@Illuminatty: Thanks man! Yeahhhh, no way that’s the weakest haha. But I’m really big on Corbin/Rodon/Ross which some others aren’t.

I’m not as huge on Pineda, so he’s really the only guy I’d look to trade, and yeah I would stream C Anderson’s spot. Other than that, I would hold your combo of Astros RP in case Luke loses the job, nice to have the backup plan

JB & Grey! Great work bros!

Is it safe to cut ties with Matt Adams? The Cards seem reluctant to hand him steady ABs. He is my bench/extra right now, but I’m deciding between moving on from either Adams or Saunders.

    Your thoughts?

@OldMilwaukeePounders: Yup for sure. I think Hazelbaker is gonna cut into Adams/Moss a lot more than Grichuk. I’d lose Adams first for sure

should i be a little more patient with Welington Castillo or grab Wilson Ramos, Y. Molina, or
    F. Cervelli?

    thanks in advance.

@Bill Lee: All of those guys are pretty close so I would go with the hot bat and stream, probably Ramos for now
