Two weeks back, we jumpstarted our 2025 college prospects coverage with a breakdown of the top-10 draft-eligible players to target in dynasty formats. With that came two bonus selections to extend the list to 12, in addition to a handful that “just missed” the cut. Today, we’ll dive into some college prospects who did not […]

Please, blog, may I have some more?As I told you yesterday, I was ranked by Fantasy Pros 1st for all of fantasy baseball rankings in 2023. After I told you that, they announced their accuracy ranks of ‘pert ranks and I was ranked 2nd for last year: If my math is right, by the year 2084, I will be 6oth best […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Until yesterday, Cubs 3B Matt Shaw has been one of those strange cases where a rookie could be acquired in redraft leagues for very little currency, relative to his skillset and opportunity. This discount can be attributed to the relatively recent clearout of Cubs’ third base options and the fact that Shaw has been injured and hadn’t played this spring. During Tuesday’s game, however, Shaw looked 100 percent, smoking an easy looking single to the opposite field in his first at bat and stroking another single in his second. On the bases that second time, he got a good read off the bat and sprinted to score from first base only to run into Michael Busch at third base when Busch pulled up after rounding third and retreated in spring training style. I mention the sprint because Shaw is clearly feeling good and pushing to make the team.
Please, blog, may I have some more?As we grind toward the finish line for draft season I admit this is the part of the year I both adore and hate most. The excitement of getting down and dirty in the draft room balanced by the 13th round snipe of a player you were targeting. Or for me right now as I […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Last year, Fantasy Pros said I had the best fantasy baseball rankings for the previous year. I did not do well in my leagues the year I had the best rankings. I don’t know how well my fantasy baseball rankings did last year comparatively to other ‘perts, because Fantasy Pros hasn’t announced it yet, but […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? From 2013-2023, there were three constants regarding me and the LABR Mixed Draft (15 teams 5×5, weekly FAAB, $100 w/ $1 minimum): I drafted every year sometime in February (thanks as always for the invite Steve Gardner!) I reviewed the draft in a loooong post on Razzball My teams did generally well but never took […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Last week we covered why you should join an RCL, so this week let’s start covering what to do once you’re in there. To be honest, this has all been covered somewhere on the site over the years, most often by Rudy. If you haven’t been playing in RCLs though, I could see how some […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, B_Don asks last year’s LABR winner, Grey Albright, about his top 40 outfield rankings. Outfield is full of great players so how do we balance wanting every outfielder with filling out a lineup. We talk about the players that we like above ADP that we’ll reach for to […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Luis Gil won’t throw for six weeks with a lat strain, so went into the not-too-distant-past in my Wayback Machine to see who else had lat strains and how long those pitchers were out. Found one pitcher with Alfred E. Neuman on it that had a caption, “What, me thirsty?” at a garage sale my […]
