Please, blog, may I have some more?I don’t have enough spam, give me the Razzball email newsletter!
Weekly Razzball news delivered straight to your inbox.
Well if the start of this season doesn’t send home the message we’ve been preaching for years in regards to SAGNOF here at Razzball I don’t know what will. It stands for Steals/Saves Ain’t Got NO Face. Meaning, you can find these things on the waiver wire, don’t over-invest during the draft. It always rings […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Welcome my good and decent Razzball Commenter League managers. How were your first days of fantasy baseball fun? Oh, you drafted Bailey Ober? Well, pack it up, the season’s over. I kid, I kid, it’s one start, you’ll be fine. In the meantime, pony up to the stream-o-nator and grab a streamer to balance things […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Beginnings are exciting! We “put our best foot forward” and are hopeful to a fault. We also are quick to overreact and “make mountains out of molehills” so as we begin this baseball season, let’s be aware of our biases when settling in to make DFS lineups. My name is Matt (@MatthewPetrich1 on X) and […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Grey and B_Don are here with another episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, and this week, we have a full slate of baseball to talk about. Grey starts the show by getting some things off his chest like the Angels lineup and all the spring training narratives. Next up is the first week injury […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? So, this is crazy, I was in the supermarket line yesterday reading about an illegitimate child that Betty White had with a Mexican man while she was protesting with Cesar Chavez, and they named him…You’re gonna wanna sit down. His name was…Ronel Blanco!
Please, blog, may I have some more?Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! It seemed pretty fitting to lead with Shrek this week after being swamped with Easter preparations and candy gathering for the last seven days. Then, when I thought about it some more, it was a bit of a natural segue since, “Somebody once told me, the world is gonna roll me…”, […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Hey hey! We have actual, stat-accruing baseball happening now through November. Finally, the calendar feels like it’s real, and not some Sophon-induced San-ti delusion. Wait, is that the countdown to the end of my season flashing through my head? No worries — we’ve got 6 months!
My role in 2024 has shifted away from pitching and is now focused on hitting. I’ll cover pitchers as well as their stats become more interesting down the line. But we are in serious small sample size territory right now.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Howdy folks! I hope everyone has enjoyed the opening weekend festivities, and that your team has given you a glimmer of optimism after their first series—or second if you’re a fan of the Dodgers or Padres. After watching the Milwaukee Brewers sweep the Mets, the sting of Corbin Burnes’ departure has dulled, despite his Opening […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Referencing Wikipedia liberally here: Trey Lipscomb, a very famous barber in the 1840s who could twirl three mustaches at the same time. Johnny Appleseeds, children between the ages of 8-13 in the 1840s, used to exclaim, “You are a hero, Mr. Lipscomb, for us, Johnny Appleseeds, and you will never be forgotten by golly,” as […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Hi, everyone! I’m Jeremy, but my friends call me the Latch-Key Kid. Does that have to do with my last name? Yes. Is it because when I came home from school my parents were still at work and so I was left to fend for myself for a couple hours? Also yes. But that’s how […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Opening day has come and what a sweet thing it was. So what did we learn so far? First thing first, the Dodgers are leaving little doubt that they are going to try to bash their way to a championship. We also have confirmed that our first round hitters are going to give us a thrilling chase for the top spot with our number two hitter Mookie Betts hitting all over the world. Finally, we have confirmed that Colorado and Oakland will continue to be barren for fantasy owners this year. In this week’s edition of the Top 100 Hitters for then 2024 fantasy baseball season, we attack the last 20 spots in our rankings to finish off opening weekend. If we could fit 40 players into these spots, there would be a longer list as this part of the rankings is tight. If you are expecting to see Tyler O’Neill, Mitch Haniger or even Jackson Merrill there is good argument for each to crack these rankings and time will tell if they can. For now, let us finish up our pre-season top 100 hitters.
