Monday’s FanDuel action appears to have a pretty clear path to victory. That path starts with the Nationals’ Patrick Corbin, as he takes on the slumping New York Mets. After being shut out in their previous two contests, New York is in serious jeopardy of going down without a run again in the one. Patrick Corbin owns a very impressive 3.52 SIERA, second lowest on the slate. Also, the Nationals’ starter has owned this Mets’ roster. Patrick Corbin has allowed a .194 batting average while striking out 33 Mets in 129 career at-bats against them, including just last week when he worked eight innings while striking out 11.

Chris Paddack, SP: $10,300 – If you don’t want to go the Corbin path, the Padres’ Ace’s path is not a bad one to follow. Paddock has the lowest SIERA and ERA on the slate, while having a 28.5% K %.

Gary Sanchez, C/1B: $4,200 – It is not often that you pay up for a catcher in FanDuel’s C/1B position, but today is one of those days. Gary Sanchez’s matchup is just too good to ignore. The Yankees’ slugger has .364 ISO and a .397 wOBA against right-handed pitching. And Sanchez isn’t facing just any righty on Monday, he gets to take aim at Baltimore’s David Hess. The Orioles’ starter has had a rough go in 2019, especially against right-handed bats as he has posted .390 wOBA in that particular matchup.

Luke Voit, C/1B: $3,800 – If you want to save a few bucks, stay with a Yankees’ bat and load up Luke Voit. The first baseman has shown some power against right-handed pitching this season with a .236 ISO. With the Orioles’ Hess allowing a 4.01 HR/9 to righties in 2019, Voit has a great chance to leave the yard in this one.

Aledmys Diaz, 2B: $3,300 – Make sure that he is in the lineup as he sat out on Sunday with a sore hamstring, but if Diaz is in the Astros’ lineup, he needs to be in yours. The Houston infielder has a .375 ISO against lefties this season, and faces a very hittable southpaw on Monday. The White Sox’s Manny Banuelos is allowing a .436 wOBA to righties in 2019.

Jonathan Schoop, 2B: $3,000 – The Twins’ infielder has a .250 ISO versus righties so you know he hits right-handed pitching hard. The power should continue to be on display on Monday, as the Angels’ Felix Pena is allowing a 43.9% hard contact rate in 2019.

Alex Bregman, 3B: $4,300 – In six of his last seven games, Alex Bregman has scored double-digit FanDuel points. In that week span, the third baseman has four home runs and a 1.144 OPS. Look for him to stay hot against the White Sox’s Manny Banuelos. The left-hander has a 4.92 SIERA, which is highest on Monday’s slate.

Josh Donaldson, 3B: $3,500 – Donaldson has a 45.5% hard contact rate over the last seven days. Look for him to break out in this one.

Gleyber Torres, SS: $3,500 – If Torres is able to connect on a Hess’ pitches expect it to go a long way. The Yankees’ infielder has a .239 ISO versus right-handed pitching this season, while the Orioles’ starter is allowing a 40% hard contact to righties in 2019.

Carlos Correa, SS: $4,000 – Carlos Correa is in a great spot on Monday. Not only does he have a .308 ISO and a .456 wOBA versus lefties, but he also gets to pick on the White Sox’s Manny Banuelos. The Chicago southpaw is allowing a .436 wOBA to right-handed batters in 2019.

Joey Gallo, OF: $4,200 – Gallo is raking against right-handed pitching this season. He has a .386 ISO and a .441 wOBA against them.

Hunter Pence, OF: $3,900 – Pence has 15 hits, five of which went for extra base hits, in 39 at-bats against the Mariners’ Mike Leake. With a 1.061 OPS and a 167 wRC+ against right-handed pitching this season, expect that BvP success to continue on Monday.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Looks like a pretty dry Monday but look out for the wind. Seven games potentially could have 10+ MPH winds including the game in Texas that will gust up to 22 MPH. Be sure to check on the windy conditions closer to lock.

Doing Lines In Vegas

The Seattle/Texas game opened with the highest over/under total so be sure to give that game plenty of attention when building your stacks.
