Lance Lynn ($10,000) has been nearly untouchable this year with a 2.06 ERA in 78 2/3 innings, including a 28.5% K-rate and a 3.11 FIP. He should dominate the Tigers lineup, as Detroit has just a 92 wRC+ against righties. They also strike out a ton at 26.3%, giving Lynn the high ceiling that you need from your starting pitcher to win tournaments. Lynn is a strong building block at starting pitcher to build the rest of your lineup around, so he’s a strong play in cash games too. Get some Lynnsanity in all of your contests tonight.

Logan Gilbert, SP: $7,200– Gilbert has settled in nicely over the last month with 23 strikeouts to five walks in his last 19 1/3 innings. He is super cheap for a guy with a 26.2% K-rate as an intriguing value play.

Freddie Freeman, 1B: $3,600 – Freeman is batting .339 over the last two weeks and will bat second in the Braves order against Pablo Lopez. Lopez is much worse on the road, with a 4.10 ERA, so Freeman should see opportunities for runs and RBI.

Brendan Rodgers, 2B/SS: $3,200 – The Rockies are at home in Coors Field against an awful starter in Johan Oviedo, so they’ve got huge potential to be the top stack of the night. Rodgers is one of their cheapest hitters and may not be too highly rostered in contests, which is always important to consider in GPPs. He’s hitting .315 with an .869 OPS at home this season.

Josh Donaldson, 3B: $3,400 – Donaldson has three home runs in his last four games now that pitchers aren’t so sticky. He has high upside against Brady Singer, owner of a 4.70 ERA.

Tim Anderson, SS: $3,300 – The White Sox are a strong value stack against Casey Mize, who has a poor 19.8% K-rate and a 4.65 FIP. Anderson will be atop the lineup in the leadoff spot and can be paired with Jose Abreu ($3,400) and Yasmani Grandal ($3,200) for cheap.

Yordan Alvarez, OF: $3,700 – Alvarez is slashing .300/.370/.531 and has no problem with a left-on-left matchup, posting a 143 wRC+ against southpaws. Opposing starter Sam Hentges has a 7.32 ERA and a 1.77 HR/9.

Dylan Carlson, OF: $3,400 – Carlson is a tremendous play in cash games batting leadoff in Coors Field, the league’s best hitter’s park. Opposing starter Chi Chi Gonzalez has an abysmal 6.81 ERA in Colorado this season.

Starling Marte, OF: $3,400 – Marte is hitting .306 against left-handed pitching and will bat second against Drew Smyly, who has a 5.42 FIP.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Mets-Yankees and Rays-Blue Jays are the main trouble spots tonight.

Doing Lines In Vegas

I like the Cardinals to survive the Coors Field bloodbath at -105.
