Since the beginning of this season, I have been following the lovely mustache of none other than Daniel Mengden of the Oakland Athletics. Turns out, Mengden also has pretty good stuff in his right arm out on the hill. However, he has yet to be able to fully translate it to the big leagues. I believe in him in a matchup against the mostly punchless Royals, and so should you. If you need convincing, just go look up Daniel Mengden, admire his mustache for however long you need, and then put him in your lineup and reap the rewards of such a great mustache.

J.A. Happ, SP: $8,300 – Happ is continuously underrated, and facing the Angels pretty much means you have to get the best player in baseball out a few times a game to be successful. Roll with J.A. (Also, I wish it was confirmed for me from the beginning that you’re supposed to say J.A. like “jay”. Then I would have realized he was a great fit for the Blue Jays!)
Gary Sanchez, C: $5,000 –I don’t think an explanation is necessary, especially when Gary gets to face a southpaw.
Josh Bell, 1B: $2,700 – Josh Bell’s best attribute is hitting, and thankfully DraftKings could care less about his defense. This is a steal!
Matt Carpenter, 2B: $4,000 – The only way it makes sense that Carp is this low-priced is that not wearing batting gloves makes him cheaper since we aren’t paying for that added price.
Manny Machado, 3B: $4,300 – At Camden Yards against a lefthander, yet the best third baseman in baseball is not the highest priced………….
Brad Miller, SS $4,400 – Look at his homer numbers, realize he is facing Yovani Gallardo in Camden Yards, and proceed to get really excited.
Ryan Braun, OF: $5,400 – Gotta love Braun anytime he plays a lefty with a sweet alliterative name like Mike Montgomery.
Hernan Perez, OF: $4,800 – Repeat the Braun description except add something about Hernan coming out of no where to be a stud.
Mike Trout, OF: $5,000 –Can’t go wrong with the best player in baseball, even against our pitcher.
I’m Only Happy When it Rains
It should be a beautiful day for baseball tomorrow, everywhere!
Doing Lines in Vegas
The game pitting the Dodgers and Diamondbacks has an over/under of 9.5; so, if you feel like being an individual and picking someone other than who I’ve already picked, go there.
That’s all for today… Here’s hoping the Bills aren’t totally terrible tonight.
