As Action Bronson once said, I’ll be “drinking Heaney like I’m Kenny Lofton” tonight on Draft. Andrew Heaney got rocked in his last time out, but it was against a tough lineup in the Astros. His task will be much easier against the Rangers, who have an awful .293 wOBA away from their hitter-friendly park at home. Heaney’s 3.79 SIERA and 3.66 Deserved Run Average suggest that he’s been better than his ERA. Draft him with confidence.

New to Draft? Scared of feeling like a small fish in a big pond? Well, be sure to read our content and subscribe to the DFSBot for your daily baseball plays. Just remember to sign up through us before you do. It’s how we know you care!

Masahiro Tanaka, SP: Tanaka has been awesome over the last month, striking out 34 batters in 32 innings with only four walks and a 2.81 ERA. As you would expect, Tanaka’s been better on the road this year with a 3.31 ERA, and he gets his start tonight in pitcher-friendly Tropicana Field.

Trea Turner, IF: With all of the elite shortstops this year, it feels like Turner’s 43 steal, 18 homer season is being overlooked. Turner hits lefties better than righties and gets to face one tonight in Wei-Yin Chen.

Nolan Arenado, IF: Coors Coors Coors Coors.

Anthony Rizzo, IF: H to the Rizzo is in a nice spot batting third for the Cubs against Ivan Nova, owner of a 4.52 FIP. Rizzo should see plenty of opportunities for both runs and RBIs.

Andrew Benintendi, OF: As you should with every player this late in the season, first check if Benintendi is in the lineup, as the Red Sox have already clinched their division. If he does play, Benintendi should have a monster day against the Orioles wack pitching staff.

Christian Yelich, OF: Yelich’s insane run continues, as he’s now got five homers and four steals in the last 15 days with a 1.360 OPS. He might just be the NL MVP.

Starling Marte, OF: Marte is a late-round GPP play for his power/speed upside.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

The Marlins-Nationals game doesn’t look great, with a 68% chance of thunderstorms. Also look out for Braves-Mets, which may see a delay.

Doing Lines In Vegas

I’ll take Oakland at +101 against Felix Hernandez.
