Give me all the Cincinnati Reds tonight: Joey Votto, Scott Schebler, Jose Peraza and Scooter Gennett. Tonight they could be a solid stack option that a lot of people won’t be on. It’s a nice match-up against Jhoulys Chacin, who currently has a 5.19 FIP and a K/9 of only 5. May the BABIP fairies be on our side tonight. Peraza and Votto have been on a serious tear and I expect that to continue. Let’s take a look at the rest of the picks for Draft…

PITCHERS
Eduardo Rodriguez, P: Has the best match-up of the night against a light-hitting team in the Kansas City Royals. For the season, they carry a .699 OPS against LHP. Rodriguez has pitched 6+ innings in his last three starts and I expect more of the same tonight. The long ball has been his nemesis, but the Royals have only 20 on the season; that ranks 29th in MLB.
Jake Arrieta, P: Speaking of teams that have little pop, only the Marlins rank worse than the Royals in HRs. Got to love Arrieta’s chance to mow down this line-up. He has allowed only 1 ER in his last two starts (14 IP). He’s finally looking like himself after the late start to the season.
HITTERS
Daniel Robertson, IF: He’s been swinging a hot bat since given the chance to play every day and has a beautiful match-up against Jordan Zimmerman, who has a 2.3 HR/9 so far this year. He’s hitting .361 and 1.000 OPS against RHP for the season.
Marwin Gonzalez, IF: Marwin’s finally showing some signs of life to make us believe last year wasn’t a fluke. He has multi RBIs in 5 of his last 10 games and seems to always come up with men on base with this great offense.
George Springer, OF: He always hits his HRs in bunches, and has homered in his last two games. This juicy match-up against Sonny Gray tonight can help the streak continue. Righties are hitting .340 off Gray and have a .413 wOBA.
Rhys Hoskins, OF: Rhys already has 3 career HRs in 9 ABs against tonight’s starter Dan Straily, who is also making his first start of the season and should be a little rusty.
I’m Only Happy When It Rains
Seems like we have finally survived all the bad weather and there’s no real risk for any PPDs.
Doing Lines In Vegas
Gimme the over in the Rays/Tigers game at 9 runs: two struggling pitchers with two offenses that are waking up. Best value of the night are the Cincinnati Reds at +110. Arizona D’Backs at -115 against Brock Stewart seems too good to be true.
