Last week’s article was all over the map. We got some great starts from Alex Cobb, Taijuan Walker, and Tony Gonsolin but Adrian Houser and Tyler Anderson really let us down. We still feel like the process has been on point, and we’re starting to get a better read on these offenses. Picking streamers is […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
We had some mixed results last week with our streamers, but I was happy with the results for the most part. The Elieser Hernandez start was the only one that rattled me, but I feel silly recommending him in the first place. We did land some of you with Sheldon Neuse, though, and his ownership […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
I was really pleased with how last week played out. Bailey Ober was the only guy who struggled, and it sounds like he wasn’t available in your leagues anyway. On the hitting side, Eric Hosmer was one of our best streamers of the season. Unfortunately, Miguel Sano went into hiding on the Twins bench while […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Last week was fantastic. All five of our pitching streamers did well, and it has me excited to keep rolling here. One thing that you need to know about me is that I play in about 30 fantasy leagues (Yes, I’m a degenerate). That means I use these streamers and gamble on these guys regularly […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
This is one of the most annoying weeks of the season to write about streamers. It’s always tough to gauge whether we should use stats from last season or build off the two weeks of stats we’ve developed this year. Understanding who these pitchers are is what really matters because that’s the ultimatum for picking […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
I’m Back! It’s been a long offseason with millionaires fighting with billionaires while us poor people twiddle our thumbs, but we finally have some baseball to dissect! The opening weekend was absolutely astounding, and I can’t wait to get back into the fantasy groove. If you’ve been reading my article for the past few years, […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Guys, we’ve made it! This is the final week of the season, and if you’re still using streamers, you’re probably in a great spot. With that said, picking streamers is tougher now more than ever, and you’re inevitably going to have some misses in the final week. I’m happy to announce that I’m in first place in my Razzball Commentor league, and I genuinely believe streaming is a significant reason why. I’ve had many hits and plenty of misses, but I love all the comments I’ve gotten throughout the year! I want to thank all of you and wish you good luck for the final week! Please, blog, may I have some more?
How the hell are we down to the final two weeks? After what felt like a long season, it’s sprinted to the finish line. The good news is that many of my leagues are still alive, and I can’t wait to break down the streamers for this week. What does need to be mentioned is the volatility of these final few weeks. More random occurrences happen in these last 14 days than at any point in the regular season, and it can make picking streamers a challenging task. In any case, we love some of the two-start guys, so let’s kick things off there! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Let’s get something out of the way right now. This is the toughest time of the season to pick up streamers for a couple of reasons. The first reason is the fact that every competitive team in your league is doing the same thing. People who are this deep into the season are inevitably going to stream just like you, and it makes the pickings extremely thin. What makes it even tougher is the fact that many of these streamers have weird workloads right now. Some of them are being pushed back and scratched, while others are being held to abbreviated three-inning outings. That drives us nuts because it’s something we can’t predict, and it’s honestly only going to get worse from here on out. With that in mind, let’s hope none of these guys find themselves in that spot! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Last week was far from my best showing. While we got some good performances from Nestor Cortes, Ranger Suarez, and Steven Matz, the other guys were terrible. Avoiding blow-ups is the most important thing when evaluating these streamers, and I didn’t do well enough last week to avoid that. It has me as motivated as ever to bounce back here, though, so let’s go ahead and get into it!Please, blog, may I have some more?
Last week was full of mixed results. We got some great performances from Ranger Suarez, Reynaldo Lopez, and Tarik Skubal, but we also got a serious dud from Vladimir Gutierrez. That’s just how this racket goes, though, and it’s almost impossible to be perfect. What’s important is that you maximize your moves and use as many of these streamers as possible. That should help the volatility of a random blow-up and help you gain an edge in some of the counting categories. I’m actually tied for first place in my Razzball commenter league, and you better believe I’ll pivot to some of these guys to try to break that tie! Please, blog, may I have some more?
We went with a weird strategy last week, and it worked pretty well. There’s obviously going to be some stinkers when you throw out 20 guys, but it’s a strategy that I’m going to continue to use if the situation arises. It was simply a week with too many choices, but we’re back to normal here. What’s crazy is that we have only six weeks remaining in the fantasy season, and it makes streamers as important as ever. That has me motivated to hook you guys up with some gems, so let’s get into it!Please, blog, may I have some more?
