Sadly, I still play Candy Crush
@Grey: Hahaha! I’ve literally never played it….ever!
Between fantasy baseball, candy crush and words with friends, do you ever put your phone down?
You sound like Cougs…Wait, you’re not, right?
@Grey: Oh, you’re assuming I’m passing judgement. I do the same thing. I have 18 baseball teams, write everything on my phone, plus twitter, texts, and watching minor league and MLB games. I’m pretty sure my phone might be my best friend. It’s now supplanted TV, computer, and human interaction. It’s like that Simpson’s episode where everyone plugs their heads into cords.
Haha, yup yup… Sometimes I have to actively think about putting my phone down
@Grey: My kids have run into moving traffic and I’ve held off for a few extra seconds. Cause, you know, I’m finishing my thought…
Haha… I’m on my phone right now, sitting in traffic
@Grey: I did that in front of my wife back in June, while we were sitting in traffic on 80 in NJ. She snapped “Are you really going to answer RAZZBALL comments in traffic”. Why yes, yes I am.
Hahahaha… I love you, Ralph
Patch Adams is not a documentary; Robin Williams was not a documentary actor
@Grey: I’m still confused by this. Is this one of those Hollywood secrets?
No, it’s a movie, brah
@Grey: So you’re saying its a documentary?
Yes, like Goonies
@Grey: My cousin’s college roommate dated the real Sloth!
C’mon! Are you serious?
@Grey: No he was just an ugly guy from Massapequa.
Hahaha
Ralph
Enjoyed the podcast very much. I have Tom Murphy stashed on my dynasty team’s minor league league roster, so all the catcher talk about him is music to my ears.
Chad Kuhl.
He’s got lively stuff (I’m no scout) … his K rate, do you think it’ll climb as he gets more reps under the tutelage of Ray Searage, especially if he manages to secure a spot in next year’s rotation? I also have him stashed on my dynasty team’s minor league roster and was hoping you’d comment on him.
Thanks in advance!
@Racehorse: Yeah he’s certainly exceeded my expectations. The fastball gets up to 94-95 but its not a great pitch. For a guy with strikeout numbers that low, his control isn’t great, and he’s susceptible to the long-ball. His peripherals say his 4.09 is lucky. He’s at best a back of the rotation guy. I figure Taillon, Glasnow, Nova, and Cole (if he’s okay) are rotation locks for much of the season next year. So he’d be vying for the final spot with Hutchison and anyone else that emerges/they sign.
