Have you heard of the RazzSlam? Rhetorical question. Of course you’ve heard of the RazzSlam. It’s only the biggest thing to happen to fantasy baseball since Grey Albright interviewed Jose Canseco. Which was not only the greatest interview in the history of fantasy sports, but arguably the greatest interview in the history of the multiverse. As for the RazzSlam, there’s no shame in being the #2 fantasy baseball event in history.
Before I signed up for the RazzSlam, girls didn’t want to be near me and guys definitely didn’t want to be me. Then I signed up for the RazzSlam—the sign-up is at the bottom of this page—and everything changed. I was suddenly knee deep in chicks. Like Frank Thomas after he started taking Nugenix. Anyway, for those few poor souls who are just now discovering the RazzSlam, here’s what you’ll want to know:
What: A HUGE fantasy baseball best ball tournament which will forever transform the landscape of the fantasy baseball world.
Who: Scores of your favorite fantasy baseball analysts, with a sprinkling of fans. Participating analysts include Razzball’s own Grey Albright & Rudy Gamble, Scott White & Heath Cummings of CBS, Andy Behrens of Yahoo, Derek Van Riper of The Athletic, plus many, many more! The field will consist of 75% analysts, 25% fans and .01% Donkey.
Where: The NFBC has very graciously agreed to play host to this historic event on their state of the art platform using their Cutline Championship format.
Why: To crown the best fantasy baseballer in the universe, win life changing prizes and impress the babes—or dudes if that’s your thing.
When: Slow drafts featuring a 4-hour per pick clock are tentatively scheduled to begin Monday, February 24th.
How: If you’re interested in participating, fill out the form below and submit. A fan lottery will take place near the end of the winter, Hunger Games style.
Format: This contest will mirror the NFBC Best Ball Cutline Championship Rules, except we’ll feature 12 team leagues rather than 10 team leagues.
Prizes: The NFBC is generously offering each league winner a $25 credit on their site. In addition, overall prizes are as follows . . .
1st Place – RazzSlam Engraved Trophy brought to you by Young Bat Company (priceless), Razzball MLB DFS Premium Subscription ($149.98 value), Full line of shirts from the Razzball Rotowear Collection ($121 value)
