Grey gets a little early season venting out and how he may be like a certain Reds starting pitcher. Speaking of no hitters, what are we doing with some of the players responsible for top pitching performances in Reid Detmers, Kyle Bradish, and Trevor Rogers. We discuss the Bryce Harper injury and what kind of […]

Grey Albright and Rudy Gamble join the show to talk about how Razzball.com got started. We get to know a little about the guys who started the site and where they want it to go in the future. We also discuss if we think baseball will be played and if so how many games. Did the Rams get the warm L.A welcome? Grey gives us his thoughts. We go a little off topic and talk about what will happen this fall with college sports. Enjoy!

A look at some of the recent call-ups — Nate Lowe, or Nathaniel Lowe if you’re formal, Carter Kieboom, Michael Chavis and Kelvin Gutierrez. Then we look at some closing shituations with the Braves and Rays. Finally, we look at some waiver wire pickups and Jesus Aguilar. Oh, Jesus. Finally, Mike Minor, Frankie Montas, Jose Peraza and more. Check it out, Razzhole-e-ohs.

The season is hitting its stride!  We’re still in the honeymoon phase, got a lot of hot-n-sexy still going to keep things spicy; more spicy than say, talking about how I rage quit in Words With Friends!  On today’s show, we talk hot starts from Jose Ramirez, Marcell Ozuna, and how Grey absolutely hates James Paxton.  Hates I say!  We then play another edition of FMK, and for our first time, take your listener comments on the Pod.  Thanks to everyone who left us a voicemail!  You now can join the Pod by leaving us a dime at this link, and we’ll include as many as we can on the show.  Obviously as close to record time as you can, so bookmark the page and send us something over the weekend or Monday morning.  Don’t get Grey started on what day the Podcast is on though!  Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:

Finally!  Some real action to talk about!  I haven’t been this excited for action since I was in high school!  Speaking on that milieu, on today’s show we play some FMK, discuss some hot starts across the league, and some not so hot ABs from Byron Buxton.  Get this guy a tennis racket!   We also try out a new recording format to make Grey sound a little clearer, so when he freaks out giving me “feedback” and annoys his neighbors, it now blasts your eardrums with HD precision!  Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:

The season is here!  Finally real games to talk about!  Unsurprisingly, Grey and I’s (sic) motors get going with an action-packed Pod breaking down the Sunday games, plus the first half of Opening Day from yesterday.  Should be “Opening Days”!  So confusing!  We catch up on closers being terrible, a big start for A.J. Pollock, and C-Mart pitching more like K-Mart.  The show then wraps with a run through of our 2017 Staff Picks, and man did things look great for Grey right after we stopped recording!  Literally minutes after we finish recording Rougned Odor hits his first homer, then 30 minutes later his second!  Yeesh Kubot.  Reboot!  Reboot!  Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:

Grey is back from his East Coast gallivanting!  Just listen to the crazy Saturday night Grey had in NYC….  On today’s show, we chat on Grey’s NL-only Tout Wars squad, filled with mystery, intrigue, and Cody Reed – who just gave up 10 runs in his last Spring start!  We also catch up on injuries to lefties, J.D. Martinez‘s food, and Gregory Polanco waking up with a sore shoulder.  Get this guy a Tempur-Pedic!  Finally, we have Rudy join us on the show with Peter Rosenbloom and Jared Cross – two of the founders of Steamer – to talk projections systems, and how they’re formulated and tweaked based on new data sets.  I like the new unit of time we came up with!  Plus our membership subscriptions for our own special sauce Razzball tools are now live!  We’re geared for the best tools you can find for fantasy baseball, both for season-long and for DFS.  Check them out at that linkity link there!  Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:

We’re back with the Razzball Podcast, now with unfortunately less tickling!   On today’s show, Grey and I discuss some news out of Spring Training like Ian Desmond‘s injury and a hot start for Mitch Haniger, and also Grey’s celebrity meeting at Whole Foods.  Good thing Grey didn’t see him at the counter with a bunch of olives in his salad!  Then to the meat of the show – Starting Pitcher battle!  Grey and I debate our SP ranks, which you can compare in Grey’s ranks vs. my Top 100 SP.  Let us know who you think wins the battle!  Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:

Razzball, ON LOCATION!  That’s right Razzball Nation, Grey and I report live from sunny Phoenix, Arizona with our thoughts from live Spring Training scouting.  Things didn’t go so well for Tyler Skaggs!  But it did go much better for us schmohawks, who had a blast in the desert – check out us clowns on the tweets!  We also catch up on other news from around the MLB like injuries to the Davids, plus preview Grey’s ranks through SS and 3B.  Now with more live tickling!  Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:

Don’t worry, our blunders are still pretty entertaining!  Due to some last-second scheduling, our joke about the Oscars at the beginning became painfully true for us as well, as we jacked around the date and put the Pod up today!  Eh, well, it’s still early Spring, we got time before the season!  On today’s show, we recap some news from Spring like Anthony DeSclafani‘s elbow, Danny Salazar‘s great debut, and Max Scherzer‘s knuckle.  Then to the meat n potatoes – we preview Grey’s 1B and 2B rankings, with a light smattering of a C preview as well!  Follow along with the ranks found here, and let us know your additional thoughts in the comments.  Hopefully you can bring in more Brewers discussion, like Grey kept doing!  Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:

We’re back with a fresh edition of the Razzball Pod – and shocker! – Grey starts the show by yelling at me about the intro! Bloodfeud today! We catch up on some of the news from the past few weeks including the unfortunate Alex Reyes injury, then spend the majority of the show previewing OF! I nitpick through Grey’s rankings which you can follow along with here, as we hit on some values in the earlier rounds all the way down to some NL-only sleepers. All leading up to the biggest question of all: who is ranked higher, Ben Revere or Denard Span?! Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:
