Imagine the horror on Michael Halpern’s face when he found out that he was going to have to talk Red Sox Prospects this week with yours truly “The Funk Docta Spot”. Well we back, and we’re talking Sox Prospects, both of the Sox, the Red and the White. Both of the Sox is a euphemism for a whole lot of Red Sox and a like four White Sox guys. No worries, if Mr. Halpern speaks ill of any personal Boston Binkies of mine I’ll cuss him out over on ImaginaryBrickWall. In all seriousness we talk Andrew Benintendi, Yoan Moncada, Michael Kopech, Rafael Devers, and a host of others. On the White Sox side we hit on Zack Collins and contemplate a hypothetical future one-two punch of Zack Burdi and Carson Fulmer in the White Sox pen. After that we fight about politics….No, we don’t it’s a lovefest! It’s the latest edition of the Razzball Fantasy Prospect Podcast.

Halp dropping Jorge Posada! Great podcast, guys! I’m worried I like Moncada too much, and I don’t know what to do about that

Great cast! Also agreed on the Posada drop. For some reason I feel like Trevor Story SHOULD be one of those pee-on-hand guys…him and Evan Gattis.

Interesting to hear the favoring of Benetendi over Moncada…I can’t help but obsess over ceiling (rather than floor) in prospects, but makes sense for sure. Though I assume Moncada’s 20 ABs this year had nothing to do with the switch?

Similarly, am I right to assume that these 2 guys are very close for you? I have a $3 Moncada in a keep forever league where Benetendi will be $11 for 2017 – gotta favor Moncada over Benetendi there, right?

Thanks for these podcasts, Ralph (and Halp), and the team-by-team stuff – just the right amount to keep me sated over the off-season.

Am in the midst of a 20-team, 25 round MiLB draft at the minute for a new dynasty and we’re fast heading for the 400th pick. Got any of those longshot lolitas that might have some big upside who’d still be out there? Down to the likes of Dawel Lugo and Samir Duenez now, so if you can pluck a few names from thin air for me to have a look at that’d be awesome.

@Desmond: I assume all the first year player drafts from my rankings. If you’ve exhausted all those names. Here’s a few.

      D.J. Peters
      Randy Arozarena
      Ronald Bolanos
      Austin Hays
      Ronnie Dawson
      Cody Thomas
      Colton Welker
      Taylor Hearn
      Eguy Rosario
      Steven Duggar
      Eddie Gamboa
      Garret Stubbs
      Kevin Gadea
      Sixto Sanchez
      Thyago Vieira
      Melvin Adon

Look at those guys and see if they’re owned. Then look ‘me up on B-Ref or Fangraphs.
