Lance is back in the saddle this week, as we talk some of the debuts of the last week in MLB. We of course gush about Chris Paddack, touch on Corbin Burnes, and Nick Margevicius, as well as other rookies breaking camp with their respective big clubs. Following the MLB rookie discussion we swim back to the shallow end of the pool to talk MiLB assignments for the upcoming campaign. We discuss a stacked Wilmington club, as well as some of the other standout groups to checkout this season. It’s the latest episode of the Razzball Prospect Podcast, and no animals were harmed in the production of this show.

Pillar is on eof my outfield spots. I had Mcmahon and went on the IR. So I’ll start Tellez over Pillar. So then pick 2 Fletcher, Brian Anderson Longoria.

        Thanks!

What do I do with Reyes? I had high Hope’s for him and took him late. I only have one na spot and I got that filled already. I wasn’t even needing him to start. I thought I would have a reliever who qaul at sp in my saves +holds league. I thought I’d get some holds and a k/9 boost. Is he a hold or cut?

Ralph, I’ve got a keeper question for you. It’s a 10 team h2h points league. Which, I know points league questions can be complicated, so I’ll just ask for some advice and then apply it to our league. We can keep a full 25 guys year over year, but there are no prospect/farm system slots.

I’ve got Trea Turner down till who knows when, but have won my first h2h and have strong team overall. I’m in compete now mode though, so filling in with Dansby Swanson, Nick Ahmed and the likes won’t cut it if this broken finger lingers and becomes and issue.

Trying not to over-react, but received a trade offer over the weekend that doesn’t feel great, but maybe not too far off?

My Paul Goldschmidt for his Carlos Correa. I also have Freddie Freeman on the roster.

Is Correa who we’ve seen when healthy? Do you think he has another level, particularly for power? Could his age 26-30 seasons be 30+ homer campaigns? Would they come with significant increase in K rate/avg?

    Thanks Ralph!

I would do that deal. I would think Correa has a good bit more value than Goldie in Keeper leagues and at worst the same value in redraft leagues. So that is a win win for you in your keeper league even with you being in win now mode
