1. Rangers OF Wyatt Langford | 22 | AAA | 2024

Has a rookie ever jumped into a world series lineup like this and claimed a spot like it always belonged to him?

2. Orioles SS Jackson Holliday | 20 | AAA | 2024

3. Brewers OF Jackson Chourio | 20 | AAA | 2024

Power, speed and defense is a heady mix.

4. Rays 3B Junior Caminero | 20 | MLB | 2023

5. Nationals OF James Wood | 21 | AA | 2024

James Wood is back where he belongs inside my Top Five. He brings a physicality matched only by the very best athletes in the sport. He struck out just 12 times (and drew 10 walks) this spring; so although contact questions remain, he doesn’t have far to travel to become a rotisserie monster.

6. Dodgers RHP Yoshinobu Yamamoto | 25 | MLB | 2024

7. Rangers OF Evan Carter | 21 | MLB | 2023

Might look like I got spooked by Yamamoto’s first game and dropped him a few spots, which is true enough, but he’s mostly a little lower here but because James Wood had to climb,

8. Tigers RHP Jackson Jobe | 21 | AA | 2024

9. Diamondbacks SS Jordan Lawlar | 21 | MLB | 2023

10. Guardians OF Chase DeLauter | 22 | AA | 2024

I was already comparatively high on DeLauter at 16th, but he jumped five spots thanks to a cacophonous spring training that makes pretty clear his unique blend of power and contact will play against major league arms.

11. C 1B Samuel Basallo | 19 | AA | 2025

12. Pirates RHP Paul Skenes | 21 | AA | 2024

13. Tigers 2B Colt Keith | 22 | AAA | 2024

14. Orioles 3B Coby Mayo | 22 | AAA | 2024

15. Nationals OF Dylan Crews | 22 | AA | 2024

16. Twins OF Walker Jenkins | 19 | A | 2026

17. Rays 1B Xavier Isaac | 20 | A+ | 2025

The guys in this tier who don’t make the show this year are early contenders for Top Five fantasy prospects entering 2025.

The contract and the second base spot make Keith feel like safe money in a turbulent world.

Basallo and Isaac are my favorite first base prospects in a long, long time. They make it look so easy.

18. Red Sox SS Ceddanne Rafaela | 23 | MLB | 2023

29. Red Sox OF Roman Anthony | 19 | AA | 2025

20. Padres SS Jackson Merrill | 20 | MLB | 2024

21. Cubs RHP Cade Horton | 22 | AA | 2024

22. Mets SS Jett Williams | 19 | AA | 2024

23. Tigers OF Parker Meadows | 24 | MLB | 2023

24. Yankees OF Spencer Jones | 22 | AA | 2025

25. Yankees OF Jasson Dominguez | 21 | MLB | 2023

Proximity feels crucial this time of year, so Meadows moves up a bit on the back of an impressive spring that locks him into the centerfield job for quite a while in Detroit.

What’s the upside to Jett Williams vs Acuna who’s 1-2 years older and both in the Mets system?

Interesting comment you make about Bassallo.

Since you kinda went there, I’m going to ask you who was that 1B prospect you loved as much as Bassallo and Isaac? Also, while I know this is simply for fun, how about a real life comp for Bassallo? I’m wondering just what you think he can be. Thanks Itch!

Love looking at the revised 25. Great idea!

What do you think we are looking at with Carter power wise? Think he eventually tops out at 25 HR?

What do you see from Jackson Jobe this year. There’s a lot of deep options for the rotation, do you think he supports the pen?

2024 impact stashes (only concerned with guys starting in minors). 8 of your top 10 on this list are owned. If I read your list correctly Jobe, delauter and skenes are the best 3 for 2024 who are not owned in my league and are starting in minors. Is that correct? Thanks

Btw, sharing this HR from Delauter. My goodness. That ball was destroyed.

Love your list, Itch. Mostly cause I listen to you and own six of these guys. Some might call it circular logic, but I call it standing on the shoulders of giants.

How soon is realistic for Basallo and Isaac to be starting at the major league level?

And how does Wood compare to O’Neill Cruz and Elly?

Thanks!

once you bring someone up, they’re up for good on your team…. I’m looking at picking up Henry Malloy … who’s the drop? OR bring up Westburg and/or Harrison to make the space ?? Thank You as always!!

Where did Alejandro De Aza go

Lawlar thumb surgery (ruptured ucl). Even my stashed prospect gets hurt. Son of a buck. I think that kind of surgery pretty much ruins his stashability in redraft. He may return but thumb issues linger. I can see this being a lost year with the bat and any power.

Happy almost-start of the season for everyone else. I know TB is pretty jam-packed, but when do you see Caminero getting the call, around May?
Love the gains Chase DeLauter has been making, you think he’s a May ETA as well? Gotta think the Guardians will tire of Laureano/Florial sooner than later.
