Guardians 2B Juan Brito (24) got the call this week to replace the injured Gabriel Arias and picked up a couple hits in his debut. He walked twice as much as he struck out through nine Triple-A games (6:3) and was slashing .314/.405/.457 for Columbus. I’ve long been a believer in Brito’s bat and suspect he’ll carve out a long term role with this opportunity.

Tigers OF Max Clark (21, AAA) should be joining Kevin McGonigle in the majors before long. He’s slashing .382/.476/.559 with seven walks, two strikeouts and four stolen bases through nine Triple-A games. The team seems to like Parker Meadows a lot, but he’s not the kind of guy who should block the game’s best center field prospect during a contention cycle.

White Sox IF Tanner Murray (26) had a great spring and carried that over to the regular season in Triple-A, slashing .304/.467/.609 with two home runs and two stolen bases in six games before the big club called him up. He’s 0-for-5 so far with the Sox, but he’s eligible all over the infield in Fantrax and could be useful to anyone desperate for hitters.

Another member of Club Hot Spring, Giants OF Victor Bericoto (24, AAA) has kept the party going, slashing .323/.405/.548 with one home run and 16 R+RBI through eight games. There’s not really a spot for him in San Francisco, but things can change pretty quickly around here.

Cardinals C Jimmy Crooks (24, AAA) has four home runs in just seven games and could steal a share of the big league catching gig away from Pedro Pages, a plus defender who’ll probably make that a pretty slow process.

To implement the ABS challenge system, the players had their listed heights adjusted, and a bunch of guys instantly got shorter. It’s not all bad though because there’s a new benefit to being a little on the smaller side. Enter Brewers OF Luis Lara (21, AAA), listed at 5’ 7” 169 pounds. He’s off to a hot start, slashing .303/.395/.515 with two home runs and three stolen bases through nine games while flashing his trademark plate skills. The big league Brewers lead the league with 22 team steals through 11 games. That’s seven more than the second swiftest team in Miami.

Twins SS Brooks Lee is hitting .192 with just five singles to show for 28 plate appearances across nine games. He’s also a below average defender. I realize Minnesota is in no hurry here, but Kaelen Culpepper (23, AAA) seems much more likely to stick at the six for the long haul, and he’s already got three home runs in nine Triple-A games. I don’t think they’ll make this swap soon, but I’ll be waiting on it until they do.

Mariners LHP Kade Anderson (21, AA) threw four scoreless innings with six strikeouts and one walk in his pro debut. I don’t think he’s going to get hit much in the minors. Just a matter of waiting for a chance in stacked rotation.

Here’s what I wrote about SS Angel Feliz (19, A+) in the Washington Nationals Top 10 Prospects For 2026 Fantasy Baseball on October 5 of 2025, which feels like about three lifetimes ago.

“Feliz signed for $1.7 million in 2024, but he’s probably a free agent in your dynasty leagues. At 6’3” 185 lbs, he’s a prototype athlete who checks all the boxes and could climb the lists in a hurry if he can improve upon the 105 wRC+ he posted in 84 games during his stateside debut season. He hit just .230 during his 31-game stint with Low-A but managed three home runs and a near-league-average 97 wRC+.”

Through three games this year, it looks like I made the right call squeezing him into that ten spot, which I like to reserve for exactly this kind of prospect. Feliz is slashing .375/.643/.500 with six walks against one strikeout, good for a 238 wRC+. Interesting.

Diamondbacks SS Kayson Cunningham (18, A) had a rough eleven games in Low-A last year (68 wRC+) after being drafted 18th overall by Arizona. That couple weeks was enough to make him fairly affordable for dynasty purposes over the winter. This spring, he looks like a new man. It’s only been four games, but it’s great to see him slashing .571/.700/.714 with six walks and just one strikeout.

I would love to hear your thoughts on Grant Taylor. Him opening games and pitching 1 inning adds no value fantasy wise but apparently the Sox are looking to transition him into a starting roll. I can’t help but to think of Crochet. Am I wrong and just move on?
