I’m hoping that most of you reading this at the very least have the day off, if not, my condolences to your summer. For those of you still standing, reading, celebrating or partying, I’m here to give you some quick advice on tonight’s late games in DFS. We are on a limited slate of only five games, so it’s going to be all or nothing tonight. R.A. Dickey, $13,600 is at home vs the Rangers and I have a feeling the knuck-knuck will be dancing in the deep South’s overwhelming humidity. He was lights out on Wednesday when I streamed him in Philly, posting a solid 8 innings, with 9 Ks and only giving up 1 ER. He’s facing a Texas team that hasn’t seen him since May of last year and he dealt, 8 innings with 6 Ks and 0 ER. Long story short, don’t be a dick and get you some R.A. tonight with a side of the double RR. That’s right! I’m all in on Robbie Ray, $21,000 who is facing the Dodgers in Los Angeles tonight and his road splits are insane! Full disclosure? I didn’t feature Ray today because I already did earlier this season and I didn’t want to repeat. Yes, I’m endorsing him even against the mighty Dodgers. I shouldn’t have to back up my picks with statistics, but I know you need to see the numbers to verify my claims. Chase Field; 5-4, 4.50 ERA, with 82 Ks over 64 innings. Like a young Willie Nelson our Ray Gun is ready to rock it “On The Road Again” where he’s 6-1, with a miniscule 1.49 ERA to go along with 88 K’s over 66.1 innings. I know Willie warned our moms against letting their babies growing up to be cowboys, but this is one young buck who likes to go rogue and put up numbers on the road. Now that our pitching is locked and loaded, let’s take a look at our offensive options.

Freddie Freeman, IF: $10,800 – He recently came out and said he’s not even close to being a 100%. If he’s playing hurt and still raking, then I’m drafting him in every league next year. He’s facing Andrew Cashner at home tonight and I’m looking forward to hearing Dan Plesac on MLB tonight yelling; Fredddddieeeeeee Freeeeeeeeemannnn!
Justin Smoak, IF: $9,200 – The Smoak Monster is Fenway tonight facing Rick Porcello. He rakes in or against Boston, take your pick.
Daniel Murphy, IF: $8,800 – He hasn’t hit a Bomb since August 13th, I’m thinking he might be due.
Ryan Zimmerman, IF: $7,200 – The early season MVP was riding a bit of a cold streak over the last few weeks. I think he was nursing an injury, but he went yard yesterday. Zim likes to hit them in bunches and he’s due.
Derek Dietrich, IF: $5,200 – I know when you look at his name you only see Double D’s, but I just realized it’s Diet-rich. Damn, all these posts and I just realized that now? He’s cheap and I’m banking on his previous two HR’s vs A.J. Cole in only seven AB’s.
Giancarlo Stanton, OF: $10,500 – Yes, I have a crush on the Miami Mashing Machine! I’m not stalking him, but I did draft him in almost every league. Yes, Please and Thank You!
Christian Yelich, OF: $7,200 – Have you seen his Mom? She could definitely give Cougs a run for her money. Obviously, I’m banking on the Washington and Miami game turning into a barn burner.
Chris Young, OF: $6,400 – This lefty masher loves seeing J.A. Happ on the bump. He’s 5/16 with 2 Bombs and 5 RBI.
I’m Only Happy When It Rains
With only five late games we don’t have any weather issues. If you’re in the Los Angeles area be thankful it’s only 95 today versus the average 110 it’s been for the last week!

Rick Porcello and the Boston Red Sox are the lead dogs tonight at -165 they’re also slated to be the highest scoring game at 10 o/u. J.A. Happ has locked the Sawx down over his last few starts. Granted Fenway is in play tonight, but I just don’t see it being a slug fest.
