I’m standing outside the club, I got my shirt off, I’m screaming at the top of my lungs. Who want to F*** wit Hollywood Cole? Huh?!? You want some of this 9.02 K/9? You want to try and swing for the fences when I got this .48 HR/9 sitting on my waist? Nah, none of y’all can test Hollywood Cole! My mom calls me Gerrit but it’s Hollywood to you. I got 14 wins so far and I’m looking to make it 15. You got Gold in the middle of your lineup. So what! I got gold in this here fastball. Blow it by you at 96 and follow it up with a slide piece. So what’s up you wanna F*** wit Hollywood Cole? You can if you’d like, just got to hop onto DraftKings, pay $10,600, and see what happens. This was just a really elaborate way to say start Gerrit Cole, he good. Now someone get me a mystic, I’m thirsty!

Colin Rea, SP: $4,800 – I spoke a little about Rea in my two start pitchers post on Saturday. His AA numbers this season were immaculate, keeping the ball in the park and keeping a good spread on his K/9 and BB/9. He had a little trouble during his brief time in the PCL, but most everybody does. They play in Space Stadiums apparently, or so I’ve been told. Anywho, Rea draws a home matchup at the canyon known as “Petco on the Sea” against a bottom of the barrel Atlanta Braves offense. Don’t expect a ton of K’s in this game but at $4,800 Rea should keep it tidy and get you a good 15+ points for a bargain bin price. Today’s short on options due to the short schedule.

Carlos Rodon, SP: $6,700 – Last Tuesday, Rodon faced the same Angels lineup he faces today and had possibly the best start of his young career. He went 7 strong, punching out 11 Halos and allowing a goose egg in the process to earn his 5th win. Well I’m cleaning off my plate and heading back for seconds. At $6,700 you could do a lot worse. The K upside is phenomenal, cause his stuff is what we call “Nasty” in the industry.

Torii Hunter, OF: $3,700 – Old Man Hunter has been hitting Cranky Old C.C. since dinosaurs roamed the earth and you were just a twinkle in the milkman’s eye. Lifetime Hunter (not to be confused with the MILF Hunter or short-term Hunter) has 4 homers and 20 rbi’s in 79 at bats. This is the swan song for both of these once great warriors. Hey look it’s old timers day in the Bronx again.

Jackie Bradley Jr., OF: $3,700 – Coming off a big weekend and a relatively hot few weeks since being recalled from Pawtucket. JBJ may not walk three times today, but he might knock a hit or two off the inconsistent Danny Salazar. In his last 5 games, Jackie has put up totals of 59, 15, 5, 15, and 34 on DraftKings. That’s serious fire right there boi!

Carlos Santana, 1B/3B: $4,200 – Should be a big night for the Indians lineup with Matt Barnes on the mound. This is my way of saying that the Indians stack is very much in full effect from now until forever. Well, maybe not forever. Just until the end of the night, but many years of conditioning due to rap music led me to finish that sentence with a forever.

Logan Forsythe, 1B/2B: $3,400 – Anytime the Rays are facing a lefty the first thing I do is put Logan into my lineup. The next thing I do is stare deeply into the mirror and think about all those less fortunate than me. For just a dollar a day you can feed a starving child in a third world country. Think about the children.

Evan Longoria, 3B: $3,800 – What happened to Longo? Do you remember the better days when Longo was a threat to hit 30+ dongs? Now you’d be lucky if he hits 20 for you this year. Well forget all that because there’s still one instance when that Longo of old is still in play: when he’s facing left handed pitching. A .397 wOBA and a wRC+ of 161 vs southpaws has me believing.

Nelson Cruz, OF: $5,500 – Hey Cruz is facing a lefty, I should play him. This is what you should think. That’s it, nothing else, what else would you like to know? Ummm he’s hitting .385 with 10 homers and an OPS of 1.203 vs LHP in the two-oh-fifteen. No this is reality and not a video game, those are just video game numbers.

Looks like the Sharks agree with the Ooskie Whoa, making Hollywood Cole and the Bucs the biggest favorite of the day at -210. They’re also feeling my Tribe stack listing Cleveland as the favorite in the match with the day’s highest total of 9. Other favorites include Colin Rea and the Padres at -139 and surprisingly the Orioles against Sonny Gray at -120.
