What an off-season it’s been here on the Razzball Prospect Podcast. As we roll through system by system, leaving nothing but intelligent minor league coverage in our wake, we’ve had the good fortune of interviewing some of the top prospectors in their respective organizations. It all culminates this week, as we welcome The Athletic’s Emily Waldon into the fold. Emily is a friend and the go to resource for all things Tigers Prospects related. Lance goes back and forth between Emily’s Tigers list for the Athletic and my list for Razzball, going Player by player discussing their fantasy and real life impact. It’s another banner week here on the Razzball podcast. Finally, please make sure to support our sponsor by heading over to RotoWear.com and entering promo code “SAGNOF” for 20% off the highest quality t-shirts in the fantasy sports game. Ralph:
Was is your opinion of Jose Siri?. I am looking for a CF for my “Dream team”. I was hoping to go with Trammell, but it looks like he has been moved over to LF.

I like Siri’s numbers, but he is almost 23 and still in A ball. Any other CF, that will stay in CF that you recomend? Acuna and Robles are long gone.

Thanks.

Better than Jose Alexa, who won’t even turn on the TV when I ask it, repeatedly.

Ralph,

Good stuff as usual.

Listened to half this morning before I went off to today’s game.

Football update : in our league 1st played 3rd and 2nd (us) played 4th. Big day in our league. We won 3-0 (and to be honest it could have been 6). The team who were top won 3-0 too. We’re well placed ….. now to the business end of the season.

Best wishes,

Another Dan

Hey Ralph, there is growing hype for Keiber Ruiz. How good do you project him to be? A top tier catcher in the mold of Posey and Contreras or more of a good catcher like Perrez(at the high end) that is a middle round type?

What I am really wondering is if he is talented enough to hold in a dynasty for a few years?

@Randy: He’s the second best catching prospect behind Mejia in my eyes and they share some similarities. You’ll see more in my Dodgers writeup Thursday.

What are your thoughts on this trade in a dynasty 10 team hth points league (favors pitching):
Get: Godley, Manea, joe Ross, Mancini, and drury
Give: Corbin, Rodon, Castellanos, and moncada

I’d be giving up a lot of upside guys but not a ton of sure things. And I’m not planning on going for a title this year so I could wait it out. I kinda like manea and Godley though. (Albies would be ‘next up’ at 2b if I lost moncada)

@Matt: I’d hold, you’re giving up the two best players in the deal. I think there’s a better deal out there.

@Ralph Vegas: Ralph, in your opinion, who are the 2 best players in the deal ? I assume Nick is 1 of them. Moncada was a super prospect, but too many super prospects don’t pan out.

@True and Correct: Ugh, why is everyone writing off Moncada? He dealt with injuries and was pretty valuable in spurts. He’s the second best dynasty player in that deal.

@Ralph Vegas: Thanks, Ralph. I’m not writing him off. I just drafted him in the 11th round (#122).
Glad to hear you likey.

Ralph- Senzel for Mejia is too much, right? I have Bryant at 3B for the forseeable future and no current or future catchers to speak of. But Heaney my only top 10 prospect and more of a sure thing.

Ralph:
When are you going to post your updated 100 prospects list?
Your chance to make it up to Austin Riley.

@Jose: Hey! I ranked Austin Riley when a lot of people didn’t.

Looking like March.

@Ralph Vegas:

You wrote a letter of apology to him, that is why i said it.

I believe KLaw left Riley complitelly off his top 100.

You are going to make us wait untill March? Some leagues are going to start drafting soon.

@Jose: That’s why I did the end of season. I like to do the Top 100 after I finish all 30 systems. It works well as part of the process.

Ralph,
I am not going to be able to draft every player I want, but I am sure going to try and there is always trades. One trade target I have in mind for during the season is for Jimenez.

How is this for dreaming big? Nice keeper list for 2020.

2- Urias 2B (20) AA ————–gone in my two other leagues
3- Smith 1B (22) RK ————–gone in my two other leagues
4- Riley 3B (21) AA
5- Tatis Jr SS (19) AA —— OWNED
6- Ortiz RF (19) A
7- Lutz LF (19) RK
8- Ruiz C (19) AA

1- Reyes RHP (23) MLB ——OWNED
2- Buehler RHP (23) MLB ——OWNED
3- Urias LHP (21) MLB ——OWNED
4- Wright RHP (22) MLB ——OWNED
5- Gore LHP (19) RK ——-OWNED

Available: Baez (22) A, Medina (21) A & Baz (18) RK
