Hi Mike,
Any thoughts on Matthew Liberatore. He is on the waiver wire. His next two starts are tough – at NYY and Boston.
Is he a must add or just a streamer?
Does Liberatore have a higher potential than Kumar Rocker?
Would you take Liberatore over
Peterson
Wesneski
Max Myers
Casey Mize
Thanks!!
Is it is time for me to move off Warren?
Three possible options:
1. Look for a SP on the wire
2. Pick up Kumar Rocker who had a great night and his next start is vs the A’s.
3. Pick up Ben Rice. I do have Josh Naylor at 1B and Manny Machado at DH. I would be picking him for any potential trade value
Thanks for your ongoing help!!
Based on what I’ve learned about your league thru our convos, you can cut bait on Warren because your player pool is shallow enough. Rocker is a good option, but so is just using that roster spot to just stream the best SP matchup (if daily moves) or two-start guys (if weekly lineups).
Thanks! really good insight!
Hi Mike,
Your insight is always welcomed and appreciated. I can’t thank you enough!
The next few days are full of intriguing matchups.
1. These home games seem like all starts. Do you agree or would you sit any
Francis vs Seattle
Peterson vs St. Louis
Baz vs NYY
2. These below all seem toss up.
Would you start or sit?
Casey Mize vs KC
Wesneski vs SD
Seth Lugo at Detroit
3. Would you and try to trade Yelich plus Lugo to a SP? If yes, who are some pitchers to try and get?
Thanks for taking so much time to help me!
1 – Yes, all starts in my book.
2 – Mize and Lugo are starts, Wesneski is a coinflip based on how desperate you are for Ks in those roto standings.
3 – Will be tough sledding executing a trade with Yelich/Lugo, I think. Yelich is an injury risk and while the counting stats are there, the batting average dip and K-rate increase is concerning. Lugo is just hard to shop because he’s an aged SP.
Eduardo Rodriguez pitched well today. Would you pick him up?
If yes, who would you drop?
Warren
Peterson
Max Myers
Casey Mize
Wesneski
Thanks!!
No need to pick up Rodriguez with those solid dudes. Eduardo faced the Marlins for a noon eastern time game… that was the best matchup he’s going to get all year.
Thanks!!
Sit or start Warren at TB?
thanks!!
I’m lean toward sitting. That ballpark in Tampa has been hitter-friendly of late.
