A HUGE slate on this beautiful Tuesday evening. This is classic GPP territory tonight as ownership across the board shouldn’t be too much of a factor. On a 13 game slate with near-perfect weather, we are in for an interesting night of baseball. The top arms include Max Scherzer ($12,000), Lucas Giolito ($10,600), Walker Buehler ($9,800), and Christian Javier ($9,400). I wouldn’t blame anyone for going the Scherzer route, as he looks fantastic of late and is a good bet to go deep. However, I’m seeing offense spike a bit in TD Ballpark in Dunedin, Florida, where the Blue Jays are calling home this summer. At that price, I rather go down to the next few guys and fit those bats that should be alive and well tonight.

NOTE: If you’re building multiple lineups (7-12)  and are using 4 or 5 different main stacks, be sure to get those stacks in with the different pitchers you’re using. If you’re going with 3 different arms, be sure to get those bats you like in with each arm the best you can. This sounds like a no-brainer but when you’re building all those lineups, it’s easy to make edits and then inadvertently have four line-ups of the same stack and same pitcher. Use each entry to your full advantage. Search out the single or 3 entry max contests. Don’t always feel like you have to try and win $30,000 every night. Learn how to cash in the smaller contests, build that bankroll and then start taking shots for the big money. Most importantly, have fun! If losing $20 or $30 bucks on a given night is going to ruin your day, you are doing it wrong.

Welcome back for another Tuesday baseball edition of FanDuel DFS here on Razzball. It’s going to be cold in Chicago, Kansas City, and Denver tonight. By mid-game in each of these spots, it’s going to feel almost freezing. That could dampen the expected runs in those games so keep an eye out for any changes. Let’s look at some of these east coast games where the weather is a bit warmer and plenty of runs should be scored. This is a Coors slate so keep that in mind. Lance McCullers has been scratched due to a non-COVID related illness and is being replaced by Luis Garcia. If the Astros are rolling out a full lineup, that could mean trouble for Gray, so check to see if Altuve, Alvarez, and Bregman are back in action. Good luck tonight. And away. We. Go!

Apparently, the league is looking into a number of balls from Trevor Bauer’s last start to see if a foreign substance was used by the Dodgers’ hurler. Are Bauer’s suspicious balls going to be an issue going forward? I think we’ll have to wait and find out. Does DirtyBallsGate (™) have any negative connotations heading into tonight’s matchup with the Rockies? It should not. FIRE. HIM. UP. For all we know, any number of pitchers have had baseballs taken from their outing and looked into. It would make sense that we’re only hearing about Bauer’s balls because of his status as the highest-paid and most tantalizing player in the game. Anyhow…

Welcome to the 2nd installment of FanDuel Tuesday DFS here on Razzball. We have a wide-open 12 game slate to sift through and find some stacks and/or value bats that fit together nicely with whichever pitcher we decide to land on.

There’s a ton of talent on the pitching side tonight, though they aren’t all in ideal situations. As much as I love Shane Bieber ($11,200), his price and matchup make it hard to justify over other options (though if you think I’m crazy, by all means, have at it). The White Sox aren’t a world-beating lineup, but they’re better than the Royals and Tigers and should be the first test of the season for Bieber. On the other side of this match-up, you have a much lower-priced Lucas Giolito ($9,800) who seems to have a better matchup on paper. However, in that ballpark, with the wind blowing out, we might be better off pivoting to what I believe are the 3 top options on tonight’s slate. Let’s get down to business.
