It’s 2024, and those ghosts you see in the past are now in front of you because time is a flat circle.

Welcome back to Razzball Ambulance Chasers, your fantasy baseball injury report!

This year, I am introducing Ambulance Chasers video content that will include conversations with your favorite Razzball writers (including me, of course) and other special guests.

In the spirit of Ambulance Chasers, our conversations will always revolve around all things baseball injuries. Pre-season coverage will include injury-focused buying and selling by division. Additionally, we share some (occasionally very deep; don’t sass me about it) alternatives for your roster.

In the inaugural, very experimental, pretty weird episode, Mike Couillard, waiver wire expert and cohost of the Razzball’s Cards & Categories (with Jeremy Brewer), joined me to kick-off our divisional injury previews from one of the circles of Hell: the AL Central.

In this episode, Mike and I discuss

  • He’s So Back (?): What AL Central players will have a post-injury comeback in 2024?
    • Chris Paddack (MIN, SP/RP)
    • Vinnie Pasquantino (KCR, 1B)
  • Oof My Deductible: What AL Central players to sell this year because of injury risk?
    • Triston McKenzie  (CLE, SP)
    • Royce Lewis (MIN, 3B)
  • Pine Riding Prince: In 2023, what AL Central players were pleasantly surprising to roster as supplements when players hit the IL?
    • Willi Castro (MIN, OF/2B/SS)
    • Will Vest (DET, RP) and Jason Foley (DET, RP)

As we move into spring training, I will continue bringing you weekly injury coverage including news and alternatives for your rosters.

Join me next week for our AL East divisional injury preview where we most definitely will not be talking about Shohei Ohtani does not play for the Toronto Blue Jays. I swear!

In the off-season, my Twitter account got nuked by Elon for reasons which will go unnamed. You can now follow me here on Twitter (@Wh1sk3r_B1scu1t) and also on that new-fangled Bluesky (@keelin12ft.bksy.social).
